Dog friendly trails along the lake. My dog like it better than Deer Lake trails. Not that crowded especially better during covid time. There are areas for dogs to enjoy a good run and interact with other dogs.

Nice gravel roads parallel with the railway. pleasant view of peaks of north shore mountains. Well shaded with trees and bushes alongside even in hot summer. Perfect trails with or without dogs.

You can walk around 2 hours in a 10km loop trail. Cute ducks everywhere. Nice views.

I've lived in the area for almost 2 years and this was my first time going here. It's absolutely amazing, the Trans Canada Trail is like a forest, its really good for mountain biking, lots of easy to medium climbs and descents, and an incredible view of Burnaby lake

Nice trail for the family! A great place to run as well but be warned there aren't many exits so you may have to run the whole 10k!
