Safeway Surrey Central

Store was clean and clear. Prices well marked. Everything was fresh, baked goods, meat, veg etc.
Staff were friendly.
I saw someone sanitizing the baskets.
I got a great deal on steaks and chicken breasts!
Good place to shop

I've been consistently happy with the freshness of the produce here. During the pandemic, it hasn't been busy, so it's easy to keep proper distance.

Tip: print a quarter for the carts because they're locked together.

Friendly service,fresh produce, and great birthday cakes are just some of the great things this Safeway has to offer. The staff are always very helpful and go out of their way to help you find anything you need. They have a good selection of items and regular sales. I've been going to this location for 14 years and they've always remained the same. They also have a great deli with lots of hot or cold items to choose from.

After going to 5 places to find out they were sold out of beef tenderloin I came to your store and stumbled upon the 2 nicest gentleman in the meat department. My search was over. Got a beautiful good size trimmed and cut. What great service and so friendly, I will definately be back and recommend Thank you again guys great job.

Manager Scott was quick to graciously honor a stocking/pricing error. The staff here have always been very polite and professional. A sometimes tough neighborhood for them to operate in, and they do it very well.

This place is a stable bit of necessary infrastructure in a rapidly changing area. Good food, good deli, good pharmacy, self serve checkouts, lots of parking. The inside is spotless but the bums hang around the exterior and it often feels unclean there.

Amazingly this Safeway being so close to Surrey Central you would think more homeless or pan-handlers would be around and that the store would suffer as a result.

Nope it is clean, good staff and faced/restocked. Great location with more stock then the Safeway on 152nd!

Great store, friendly staff and lots of variety first thing in the morning. They sell Greenhouse Juice and it’s the only place I’ve seen it so far. They have cheese bagels that are so fresh and delicious, it’s hard to eat just one.

Nice place for a days hang out.

Sadly... another Safeway us closing its doors...but not to become a Sobeys or Chalo...

The building is worth millions and the management want to put in something bigger and better - that they can make more money from...

After speaking to some of the staff, they are being relocated and not laid off.
They have been wonderful to deal with and I am sad to see it go...

My favorite store is still in 24th and King George...

The baby shower went off without a hitch!! The cake was beautiful and delicious, the lunch meats and buns were fresh.. Delicious!

Good prices and very nice people working there. The store is not huge, what actually makes it good to shop if you don't want to spend a lot of time walking through the products to find what you need.

Live Safeway, good product selection. Love tge zpharmacy they take excellent care if us. Mestdrpartmdnt yielded a live Beef Roast fir supper last night.

Best deli. Safeway has the best snack foods and cheesecake out of most grocery stores. Was super happy to find a strawberry croissant that actually tasted like whipping cream and not that fake whipped stuff aftertaste. With fresh strawberrys. Yum! Also found some buffalo chicken pasta salad. Who knew this existed? Ive been missing out. Only note to add is maybe having a note of bacon added or dairy ingrediants so no hidden surprises happen. With a quick skim i couldnt find anything on ingrediants. Maybe i should have asked but had a busy day.

Got some great deals, no line up to enter nor to pay, actually have enough space for 2m, and most surprisingly, there was a rly cute cashier 😍!

Great for any air miles points collectors. Lineups are generally small If any and always seems to have great customer service.

I was most impressed by the service of Sarb in the deli. She went out of her way to help me get a product that was not in the cooler. This is the kind of service that keeps me coming back. Thanks Sarb.

It's a nice place to go to customer service is great. They really take good care of you when you need something. Star bucks is inside too.

Visited around 9pm and the shelves very well stocked and organized. The produce was well merchandized and good quality.

Very clean and organized store. I like coning here to buy meat because their meats are of high quality and fresh.
