Absolutely loved place. Went for breakfast and was certainly not disappointed. Good portions fast service and great atmosphere. Will definitely come back again.

so delicious and filling, afterwards i was genuinely about to fall asleep.
the waffles were crunchy on the outside, and soft anf fluffy in the middle. they kind of tasted like sourdough? which might not be to everyone’s tastes, but i loved it. they give you the option to customize what fruit you want on your waffles, so i chose strawberries! and they were so fresh and sweet, a perfect contrast to the sourdough waffles ❤ LOVEE

We went for a birthday dinner. I really liked this place. Neat, clean, very bright. Setia was our server, took very good care of us. Got drinks and appetizers right away. Main meals came out quickly, very good portions and still hot. Fish and chips and chicken parm very nice. Great dessert selections as well. Carrot Cake is the best. We will be going back.

The latte I had was a delightful blend of rich espresso and perfectly steamed milk. The flavor was smooth, and the presentation was impeccable. It’s evident that the barista has a true skill in crafting a delicious latte. A delightful experience that I’ll definitely come again!

We arrived just a few minutes after 11 and they were closing at midnight. It was 12 of us and we were hoping for a tea/drink/dessert

Initially the gentleman mentioned that it’s almost time for them to close and they can’t accept us.
But his supervisor accepted, kindly, to let us sit and have some drinks as the kitchen is closed.

We took a big table and most of us had tea and some of us had drinks.

The service was great and they didn’t push us to leave early. We hoped to get some cakes or dessert which didn’t happen but still was great to dine there and have a nice tea and chat

We came to Symposium on Sunday for late brunch. We were seated as soon as we walked in and menu were provided to us. We got the Deluxe Omelette and Eggs Benjamin along with the Belgian Waffles and of course two coffees. The coffees were just meh and however the foods were better than your other brunch restaurants I would say but I wish the presentations would be better. When I saw the Eggs Benjamin for a second I was second guessing if it's the one I ordered. Our waiter not sure if this is how they were trained but he felt like new. He was taking away our knives and left us with two forks while we still have a full piece of waffle left. Lol it was funny to me that we had to literally break the waffle into piece using two folks to eat it.

Visited with a friend today for a late breakfast. The food, service, and atmosphere was great. The coffee was smooth and flavourful. Our server, Rovina, was exceptional. I will definitely come back. Their weekday lunch specials look interesting.

Christina was our server today. She was polite and ensured that we were good during our meal. She surprised one of our boys with Birthday treat which was thoughtful of her to do so. Been here twice in 2 days, would easily return to this location. Thank you.

I had a wonderful experience at Symposium Cafe in Thornhill! It's a cozy spot with delicious food that won't break the bank. The fact that their kitchen stays open late is a big plus. Went to this location today and it was absolutely amazing! My friend and I got the fish and chips which came with a free soup and it was delicious, service was quick and the staff was very friendly! 10/10 would recommend :)

We sat on their patio. Our orders were Fish and chips and the Teriyaki Salman salad bowl.
Good quality, reasonable price, delicious, and good service.
Our orders got ready for 16-20 minutes.
Our server was Parham that he was so friendly and helpful.
Parking lot and free Wi-Fi are available.

I am a regular customer since the new owner started in 2022. And always had a great experience.
Regarding yesterday and the M Azizian review, we were there and the restaurant was full and people were waiting at the door. The staff did their best to accommodate the customers, and this could happen anywhere and to anyone in this world. Instead of complaining, you could have patience and understand the business is not like before. Giving such a nasty review will not help your community, and you will not sleep better.
I highly recommend this location, as we always had a great experience. We don’t listen to Karen.
