The food, drinks and service was fantastic!

I went with their special feature Fagoletti
(House Made Stuffed Pasta with Lobster, Shrimp and Marscarpone Tossed in a Tomato Cream With Peppercorns) it deserves to have a permanent on their menu.

Also loved the Burrata and tiramisu!

Decided to check out BORGO ANTICO again in Oakville . Went on a SATURDAY at 8pm and it was truly fantastic. The service was so on point, the owner greeted us and we had a wonderful chat during dinner. The cuisine was so delicious and full of flavors. I really enjoyed this place. Definite 5 stars. Tino and everyone at Borgo Antico Cucina Bar provided an awesome experience with quality Italian cuisine, amazing private dining area for large groups, and client first service.

Went during the day for lunch. All of the party ordered something different and all of the dishes were amazing! They all tasted delicious. I ordered the sausage pasta, my wife ordered the lamb and one of our kids tried the seafood pasta while the other had the bolognese. We all loved our dishes! I love the seafood pasta so much (as did our daughter) that I will order that next time we go there. We also tried their desserts and they were also tasty! I understand other people's reviews about the service and being a bit slow. I could see that but the food made up for it! The owner even brought out the food himself and check in on us which was a nice touch.

It was an amazing experience! We have a social set menu for a big group!. Fried Cauliflower, veal meatballs, and cheese and tomato were amazing. We had three portions for the main course, the steaks (which I got and was perfectly cooked, however the piece of beef I got was not 100% tender), and the Trout (most got it and they loved it). Will go back there soon for sure

Lovely place with large windows out front. Lovely and warm staff. Food was delicious from appetizers to dessert. Had Octopus for the first time and it was amazing. And the White was perfect for my Sea Bass...

Parking on the street was free for the night, guessing that's cos it's Sunday.

All in all, I'm surely going back!!

Ambiance was fantastic. Was greeted warmly and seated promptly. Wasn’t too crowded. Food was so good! Biggest and juiciest mussels I’ve ever seen. They had my favourite sparkling Moscato available on the menu. Would definitely recommend and will most definitely come back.

I just found a new favourite Italian restaurant. Their food and service are really amazing. We ordered a few appetizers and main dishes and I have no favourites because they’re all equally great. From appetizers to desserts to their coffee just amazing.

I had the fish dish with large grilled Shrimp and it was so fresh and tasty. Had to get the bolognese as it is one of my favorite dishes and got it as a side dish; it is al dente and that is the way it’s supposed to be for those who think it’s not. If you want it more cooked just ask I’m sure they will do it for you but I thought it was perfect!

My wife and I are regular visitors to Borgo Antico but the menu for Valentine evening dinner was different from the usual one and special. Each dish that we had - Short Rib Arancini, Iceland Cod, Crespelle (Crepe filled with Ricotta and Ground Veal in Tomato Sauce), Tiramisu - was excellent in quality, taste and presentation. The place was busy and the atmosphere was happy and festive. We were well looked after by wait staff and the owners. We ended up having after dinner drinks and great conversation with the couple at the next table. A wonderful evening and we will happily come back to Borgo.

Went for the Taste of Oakville. The food was absolutely amazing. I am usually not very impressed by Italian food. I mean, I have never been to a bad Italian restaurant, but I have never been wow'd, but this one did it. It is a little pricey, but you get your money's worth (at least with the Taste of Oakville deal). I will for sure be visiting again.

Came to this place for the first time to celebrate a friend birthday. Good location in Oakville and ample parking in the back streets.

The restaurant is spacious, bright and nice.
The staff/servers are great, food was amazing.

A true, authentic Italian dinner. The more I ate, the more it reminded me of the beautiful cuisine that Italy has to offer. Additionally, the servers were very welcoming and friendly which added to the experience. Lastly, I had the Linguine Aragosta E Gamberi, which was cooked to perfection and tasted like it was straight from the Mediterranean. Bravo Borgo Antico!

One of the BEST authentic Italian restaurants in Oakville. I have been a big fan since they opened and have continued to come back for the delicious food and chats with the friendly staff. Service is superb. Definitely top 5 in Oakville on my list. Pictured is the grilled octopus starter and fish plate with shrimp and roasted seasonal veg. I really savoured every bite - such amazing flavours.

Lovely spot for great food and drinks😋! We sat at the bar and were well taken care of. We were passing through on our way from Niagara and glad we found a new spot!

I felt like I was in Italy and having authentic Italian cuisine. A must for all foodies and please share your opinion on what you had so I can try the same on my next visit. I asked the owner if they had any more branches and his honest reply was, “we do not want to dilute our quality as he prepares all the delicacies himself and will not trust anyone with his secret recipe.” Starters, Main Course and Desert all par excellence!!! Keep it up 👍

Absolutely amazing food and more so service. Staff are pleasant and give you best suggestions for your gourmet enjoyment. All we tried tasted unbelievably good and made our day. Highly recommend.

Great food, and very attentive and happy service. They've done a small menu update, and the new items are such good additions. The braised short rib is to die for, and they definitely have the best calamari around!
