This is the single most 'MUST SEE' beach in Cape Breton for its boardwalk and beach hike - Go during sunrise or sunset to take in the fresh slaty air and scenic beauty.

Gorgeous beach with super soft sand, a sand bar, and water that’s a great temperature for dipping your feet or for a little swim. You can walk down some wooden steps to get to the beach area. Can be a bit busy for finding parking. Didn’t see any bathrooms but I think there was some somewhere according to signs in town. There is a garbage can if you need to throw anything out. It says dogs are welcome on this beach only and need to be on a leash. Lifeguards between 10-6PM.

Amazing Beach !! The sand is nice and golden brown the ocean water was nice and refreshing. My kids had a lot of fun. The only downside is there is not enough parking spots so I suggest to come early.

Best beach ever for my trip in eastern provinces. We found this place unexpectedly but spent hours there! My kids love it. It’s sooo beautiful and wide place, from where you could admire the sunset and collect colorful stones. The beach is flat, even easy for baby to walk. My son’s 16months and he walked a lot. The sand is fine too!

Breathtakingly beautiful! An unmarked gem, with unbroken beaches, a boardwalk to connect from city roads to the heart of the Atlantic. Stunning, unbroken views of the ocean, lush mountains in the background with nice florals along the boardwalk. You should not miss this if you find yourself in Inverness, and I would highly recommend you stop here on your Cabot Trail road trip!

This is a gorgeous beach! The waves are beautiful. I love that at their canteen they sell a variety of yummy treats, drinks, flip flops, towels, shovels and buckets for the little ones and more. Great spot to visit

I love this beach! As the first fully accessible beach in Nova Scotia, it continues to offer opportunities for those of all abilities to plan a beach day with friends and family. There are two water Mobi chairs, two sand chairs and now two walkers that can be used on the sand too. Volunteers are on-hand in the summer months to assist beachgoers. There is a great canteen onsite as well.

Amazing beach, great looking waves, tons of seaglass. Get there early to avoid crowd around noon time and parking. Lifeguards on duty.

Washroom not so clean but ok. Outdoor change room , no showers.
The only shack there for food is so expensive so make sure you pack your own snacks.

One of the nicest beaches on the East Coast of Canada. I’d been wanting to visit for the longest time & it did not disappoint. Lots of room for everyone to sprawl out & lots of parking too.

One of the best beaches in Nova Scotia, is quite long, has warm waters, beautiful board walk with look out points, has a hut eatery at starting of beach road , toilets and changing rooms.

This beach is PERFECT! We came in late September, the air was cool but we were still in shorts. The ocean air was clean and refreshing, it’s very accessible, and we got the best views. I would have posted photos of the sunrise and sunset, but I was way too captivated to take my phone out. Check this please out!

Simply the best beach I have ever been to! Soft sand, so much sea glass, water is shallow for a long while!

Great beach, although sometimes it can be extremely rocky and filled with debris, mainly after storms or strong winds of course but overall great beautiful beach.

One of the best beaches I have seen in a long time. The beach goes on forever, so there is a great chance of finding an area that isn't overflowing with people. There is a lifeguard area too. Great mix of rock and sand. Can't wait to go back!

What a gorgeous beach, even in the rain!
Tons of beach and boardwalk to walk. Dog friendly (leashed). Super soft sand. Great at low tide!

Great beach with stairs down onto the sand. Accessible boardwalk is lovely for those who may not as easily get down onto the beach itself. But both are nice for walks and enjoying the scenery (golf course is on the other side of the boardwalk). Really enjoyed this stop!

Definitely one of the best beach in Nova Scotia, the sand is white and smooth and the views are breathtaking. If you're on the Cabot Trail, I huge you to swing by you won't regret it.
