Best place to stay! Clean, all needs are met regarding kitchen supplies, camping chairs provided and firewood. Great spot for kids to play & paint rocks at the bottom of site. Fishing, biking, hiking near by. Dougie is a great host. Most of all the view is incredible, very special place.

Can't recommend this place enough! The setting and views are surreal and the "cabins" have everything you could need. It was incredible to wake up to an amazing view, walk through the field and see buffalo, and walk along a quiet dirt road with views of the ocean. I will be be back! Thanks for a great stay, Dougie & Angela ❤

Wish we could give 6 stars! What a great place. The accommodations are amazing, views spectacular, washrooms clean and shower hot. We received the warmest welcome and lots of tips. We are already planning to stop here for longer next summer.

Stayed here for a night before taking on the Cabot Trail and it was a great kickoff! Just a gorgeous view, and all the amenities were clean and well maintained. Had a nice campfire and watched the sunset.

Amazing spot! Gorgeous view and close to beaches and to town. The pictures don’t do it justice. The kids were very happy to go camping while the adults were happy to sleep on dry and comfy beds. Everything has been thought about here. Well equipped very clean. We will defiantly be back! Thanks again!

Clean bathrooms and hot showers. Swing set and rock painting play area for the kids. Close to town. Do yourself a favour and try this place out!

Exceptional! Everything is perfect. The land is gorgeous, the cabin-tents are amazing. Well-equipped for campfires & cooking, bathrooms and showers are really clean and spacious. Perfect place to watch sunsets and shooting stars. I would travel to Nova Scotia just to stay here for a week. Very close to Inverness and Inverness Beach as well which is great!

We have been visiting these glamping sites with our whole family since 2019. Just back from a week in Cape Breton at the Beaton’s site. There is no view in Atlantic Canada like this. Coffee in the morning on the overhang deck is always my favourite time. Our kids and grandkids all come. It is a beautiful site. Everything you need is there. The Beatons have created a wonderful family business. It is 10 minutes to the Inverness Beach. A beautiful sandy beach known for its sea glass. Five minutes to bass fishing on the wharf. We caught a number this year. Five minutes for a breath taking hike of Macleod Mountain. The grandkids love to paint rocks each year and they provide all the paints. Campfires on each site with campfire wood provided and marshmallow sticks also in the cabins for your smores. You can really unplug at this site. It is so peaceful. Highly recommend. Others we met felt the same way…..all wishing they could stay longer. Thank you Douggie and Angela for your amazing accommodations and outstanding hospitality.

What an amazing location. The views are breathtaking and the cabins are perfect. Super comfortable, but doesn't make you feel like you're "cheating"...glamping at its finest. Dougie is the best! He knows the area like the back of his hand, and was eager to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. When we were initially unsure of our reservation dates, he booked us for two separate dates and allowed us to pick at our leisure. Above and beyond. Highly recommend you stay at this slice of paradise on the coast of Cape Breton.

Incredible experience; Dougie and his family were so welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. We had no issues having our dog there. The view was unbelievable, facilities were clean and well maintained, and they truly have thought of every little detail to make a memorable stay.
Thank you, Beatons, for sharing your piece of paradise!

Couldn't have asked to spend a better time and will definitely be returning for another stay in the future.
The Beatons are amazing hosts who take pride in their property while going out of their way making sure everyone is comfortable.
Best sleep I've had in months.
Thanks again.

A great alternative to hotel/motel stay on Cape Breton. The owners thought of everything. Besides the stunning views, beautifully built tents, you’ll find everything you need plus a stove/pans/dishes even roasting marshmallow sticks. I’m not a camper but after staying here I’m definitely a Glamper.

AMAZING. I typically camp however we booked last minute due to the potential rain and this place was worth every penny. Beautiful view. Relaxing. Comfortable.

Highly recommended.

Highly recommended! My sister and I stayed there, the forecast called for rain- Dougie was concerned that it would be cold and damp, he ( on his own) brought down extra blankets/comforters for us! The tent-cabins were dry and comfortable but the view and sunsets are breathtaking- able to see Margaree Island and visit Broad Cove brought back memorable times from our younger years :) Thank you Dougie/Angela for our wonderful stay!

I had a wonder stay here. The entry road was challenging for my motorcycle ,but overall a great spot. Right on the cabot trail.
