Blossom Shops - Halifax

We used Blossom Shops for our wedding flowers and wow! They were beautiful (I think the photos speak for themselves). We would definitely recommend Blossom Shops as they made the whole process very easy! We filled out an online questionnaire and then we met with Penny at the Bedford shop to discuss what we wanted. A few weeks before the wedding we spoke again with Penny to finalize the details (e.g. finalize table numbers, bridal party numbers, drop off location, timings etc). In between we communicated via email and Penny was quick to reponse to any questions we had. A few days before the wedding we viewed an example of our bouquet at the Windsor location to check we were happy with them (we were and made no changes!) On the morning of our wedding, the boys' boutonnières were dropped off at the air bnb they were getting ready in, and the rest of the flowers were dropped off at the venue (where myself and the girls got ready). Drop off and set up was smooth, they were on-time, and Penny, her husband and all the staff we interacted with throughout the process were very friendly and helpful! 5*! We definitely would recommend!

I live a couple provinces over in Ontario and my buddy and his missus had a baby out in Halifax.

After checking out several local floral businesses online, the great many positive reviews "Blossom Shops" had on Google convinced me to go with them.

My buddy's missus absolutely loved the flowers and stuffed animal.

An additional perk is that the website is simple to navigate and that the flowers were delivered promptly.

I would 100% recommend this businesses to anyone who's looking for flowers.

I had a great experience working with Leah at the downtown location for our wedding last fall. I sent her some photos of what I was looking for and the price range we needed to stay in, and she gave me different options to chose from. I stopped by the day before the wedding and she was more than happy to make a few small changes and make sure everything was perfect. She also gave me a couple flowers for our flower girl to put in her hair, which was greatly appreciated. The bouquets and boutineers were beautiful and exactly what we wanted, and we stayed within our budget. Being able to pick up our flowers the next day from another location that was on our travel route was extremely helpful. We were very happy with the customer service and highly recommend them!

Over the last year I've purchased numerous bouquets from Dean's and have been very happy with both the service and the beautiful creations! I've given flowers to a few different people who have been quite delighted with their flowers whether it was a plant, a cut bouquet or, in one case, a terrarium! I've also purchased baskets from their sister company The Goody Basket...much to the delight of the folks receiving them...full of unique, gourmet treats! Dean's Flower's has been hanging out on Stanley Street in Halifax for almost 100 years...standing the test of time.

I go out of my way to get flowers from Dean's. When i was a young girl it was the only place my father would buy flowers for my mother. We would drive to Halifax because he appreciated how professional and knowledgable the staff were. That still holds true today. I have brought brides to be to Dean's and they have been over the top happy with what Holly and her team have produced. My own house was transformed into a summer garden for a party by the Dean's staff. Truly the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. You can tell when people love their jobs and it is obvious that the people at Dean's take pride in their work.
I can't imagine shopping anyplace else.

Ordered flowers twice now. Both times Holly and her staff went out of there way to make sure that they had my wife's favorites (freesia). The flowers were stunningly beautiful but more importantly for me, they were carefully arranged with mini-plug vases on ALL the stems to keep them watered during transport. The flowers lasted a very long time (roses were still in full open bloom nearly 10 days later!). Buying "local" is paramount, and this is the place I direct my support.

Dean's Flowers is a Halifax tradition...my family always goes there for flowers for every occasion and now I even have my workplace using Dean's. Holly's flowers are always fresh and creatively put together - amazing... and the customer service is excellent, they take the time you need.
