Evergreen Birch Lodge and RV Resort

We had a family reunion with our 5 adult children and also celebrated our 40th Anniversary. The Cute little rustic cabins were perfect for us. Each cabin came equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. There were Compost toilets and small kitchen areas with cook-top burners and fridges. There was a BBQ at each cottage as well. We enjoyed just sitting around our fire-pit and enjoying each other's company each night. Beverly was a wonderful hostess and was quick to reply to all our texts as we prepared for this trip. She provided great tourism ideas and dining suggestions as well. We highly recommend this place and know you will be taken well care of by Beverly and her great staff.

Went for a friend/ family vacation, we got 2 cabins side by side with wash houses and shared fire pit in the middle,
The cabins have all the amenities and Very clean !! We liked how the Fire wood is right at your site ready to go ,the property is also gated, which was nice

The owner Beverly is so friendly and her and the staff have put in so much work to make the grounds Perfect, there's so many activities for the kids to keep busy (playground, tree fort , horses, big food hunting)

The beach is only 3 mins away, We did the guided fishing With Kim and caught atleast 8 fish each !!

Will definitely come back again, definitely worth a visit , great value, great resort

I booked a weekend get away for my husband and his friends and the owner was 100% amazing she was very helpful and quick with response and communication. The men all loved the trip had everything you need inside the cabin and they all had a blast. I will be booking again! Next time I'm going though aha . The view was spectacular from the photos I saw!

Driving onto the grounds was beautiful, Xmas lights. Check in was easy, I was taken for a tour of my suite. Everything I needed for living was in my suite. The bed was really comfortable and the bedding as well. Staff was helpful and polite. My stay at evergreen birch was great and I’ll definitely be coming back. Nice gem mile out of cold lake. Very convenient. Thank you Bev.

Oh goodness gravy where do I start? Firstly the owner..: she is INCREDIBLE! She’ll go the extra EXTRA mile just to see a smile. Like drive 200 kilometres just to deliver your wallet that you forgot. Kind, very warm and welcoming staff. It felt like a home away from home! The house itself is INCREDIBLE! Its like a 5 star hotel! Well kept, clean, and amazing interior! Its welcoming for all. I will stay there Time after Time again. Well worth the price! Do YOURSELF a favour and stay here! I GUARANTEE you wont regret it.

The place was so clean, quiet and peaceful, management is so easy to approach. We do love the way they keeping in touch everyday, we stay there for 2nights and 3days. We are a family of 3 and total of 18, we never regret our stay especially it is a very nice place to see Aurora Borealis which one of our purposed to rent at them. Beverly, his brother and Kim are so approchable, hope to meet Beverly for our next visit. Its our first time at Cold Lake, Alberta and we got the right place to stay. Surely we will be back there, and for that time more families will be there. Thank you so much Beverly.

Bev and Kim were great! Our bunkhouse cabin was clean and comfortable. Kim even sold us some gear and let us use the shop to put in an emergency alternator in my truck...not to mention some fishing spot suggestions. Definitely will be back again. Great location close to all ammenities.

A friend and I spent three nights in the lodge with our young children (10 guests in total). The accommodations were well maintained and clean. All amenities were available and in good working order. The owner went of our her way to make our stay pleasant and memorable. The property was pristine and the kids loved the play areas. The surrounding area offers many activities, and the beach is only five minutes away. We plan to stay here again!

It has been our pleasure to stay at Evergreen Birch for the past five months! The several acres of grounds are kept clean and tidy with lots of walking routes to explore. The property has several interesting features and surprises to discover, and the horses don’t mind us stopping by to visit. We enjoy the proximity to stores, restaurants, and especially the beach - just a short bike ride away. But we really enjoy coming back to relax and enjoy the outdoors right here. Bev ensures that everything is running well and her passion for providing enjoyable spaces and safe environment shows in the details. Both Bev and her staff are always friendly and can be counted on. I had no idea we would enjoy our stay so much!

Where do I start! Amazing! The place we stayed was amazing, the hospitality was amazing! The grounds were amazing! My kids had so much fun with the treehouse and playground and some near by horses! The accommodations were clean and comfy! It felt like home! Plus Beverley was a DOLL!!! She texted me and kept me in the loop! She texted me about what to do in the area and was so so nice to my kids! Like going to grammas house!!!!! We will go again!

From the warm welcome from Bev our host to the well appointed lodge our 3 days stay were wonderful. Every units are well equipped with all necessities and more. All one needs is a tooth- brush.The ranch is so peaceful with, at time only the sounds of birds and the wind rustling the trembling Aspens leaves.
There are great open spaces for the kids to run around safely, a tree house in the forest and some horses to pet. All this just minutes from the Cold Lake beach and Marina.
We were having a family reunion with 19 of us from grand-parents, parents and children and we all came back with warm memories.

We stayed there August long weekend and had a wonderful experience! The location was awesome, super quick drive to an amazing public beach, peaceful location with lots of room for the kids to explore. Bev and her team were absolutely amazing, so friendly and accommodating. The tree fort in the woods was so exciting for the kids to find and play in. They even had a scavenger hunt for the kids to help us get to know the resort and win some fun prizes. Excellent place to stay, I would highly recommend it. Thanks so much to Bev for making our trip that much better!

We booked a three day weekend with 3 families and stayed in the lodge. We found the place perfect, so well outfitted. The patios were wonderful and there was so much for the kids to do from patting the horse to the awesome scavenger hunt. Thanks to Bev and staff for making this a wonderful memorable weekend for us.

It was an amazing stay perfect for a woman's weekend. Staff was super awesome very welcoming and happy. I would recommend the cabins to anyone.

We have stayed at or visited Evergreen Birch Lodge several times and look forward to a return visit this fall. On one special occasion we, some family members and friends with a motor home were welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Each visit has been memorable and enjoyable. We were treated very well by the owner and her employees. The accommodation and facilities are very well appointed and cared for. The lodge is conveniently located close to the town of Cold Lake.

My family and I had an amazing time. It was a warm, safe, family oriented atmosphere with endless activities so near. If you love a beautiful beach, fishing, kayaking, etc Cold Lake is only minutes away. Then return to the serene peace of the lodge with gracious hosts and peaceful surroundings. It's great place for family reunions, vacations, retreats, or even a wedding. We definitely will be back!!!

I stayed here from October 2020 to March of 2021 while working in the area and I loved it. The rentals are so cozy and welcoming, Bev (the owner) and the housekeeping and maintenance crew are all so lovely! We dealt with -40C weather and they checked in and made sure everyone’s heat stayed running. Cleaned the units regularly, and even dropped off treats occasionally. It was very sweet. It’s so close to town but you get the comfort and security of being out of town. 10/10 would stay here again any time I’m in the area.

I stayed here for two months while working in the area. It has always felt homey and safe. I was always looked after from the moment I arrived. I had access to a laundry facility, water and sewer for my rv and power. I never felt uneasy here as they made my stay feel like I was at home. There was always firewood to use and they had an outdoor community kitchen area for people to share. Close enough to the city that you aren’t travelling a long way but yet far enough to feel like you are in the county. Terrific people and an amazing place to stay!

My husband and I have stayed at the wonderful Evergreen Birch Lodge many times over the years, different seasons and different amounts of time. It is a favourite destination and we feel like Bev and her brother Malcom treat us like family. We have stayed in the lodge, cabin and cottage and they are all tastefully decorated with fully stocked kitchens. It is a wonderful place to go for some peace and quiet, beautiful property and Cold Lake is minutes away. We highly recommend Evergreen Birch Lodge and over the years have met many people who think the same. We cannot wait for our next visit.

I just love Bev's lodge/resort - it's a dream. I've stayed 3 separate times now since Covid-19 and I've always felt safe and comfortable. Bev always goes above and beyond to accommodate me and ensure my stay will exceed expectations. I've stayed in a variety of the spaces now - from cozy lower level suites to tiny houses to spacious 2 bedroom units, there is something for everyone. The ground are clean and very quiet, surrounded by nature. I love being able to sit outside in the morning enjoying my coffee and the fresh air. A very short drive to Cold Lake South. I look forward to staying there in the future!
