First time there and was super impressed. A place that makes a ceviche the way it should. The cups, salsa, and guacamole were fantastic! The food and service were great. Loved that they had drinks that were authentic. Impressed for a place in Cold Lake as there seem to be more fast food joints than quality restaurants. Works definitely go back if we're in Cold Lake.

I ordered the nachos Puebla & ceviche to go. The staff was very friendly & my order was ready within 20 minutes. The food was fantastic & tasted just like what I would get in Mexico. Definitely recommend.

First time in a Mexican restaurant in over 35 years. The first thing I do is look up to see how clean the ceiling is, gives me insight into how the kitchen will be. A+++ one of the cleanest restaurants I've been in, and let me say the food was amazing! Very fresh, so full of flavor! Just the right amount of heat, can't say enough. We will definitely be back.

Went here when my husband was on a work trip. It was Recommended by some of his coworkers. The kiddo had the kids taco and it was perfect. The meat was seasoned and the portion was nice. The papusas were so good I ate until I couldn’t move. La negrita was unreal, sweet and savoury with the sour cream as a topping amazing. The quesadillas were unreal as well. We had churros for dessert and they were delish, so were the bulldogs I had to drink. We will eat here any time we come to cold lake and we might just come to cold lake only to eat here lol. Thanks so much for the amazing meal.

We came to Cold Lake for a quick weekend getaway and asked several locals on where to eat dinner. This place was mentioned by several people. We were not aware that we should of made a reservation but they accommodated us anyway. We ordered the fiesta chicken and chicken fajitas. Both were amazing. You could taste the homemade difference and the love behind the making of this food. Every part of our dish was great, rice, salsa, refried beans, corn tortillas, the salad dressing and the chicken! If we ever get back up to Cold Lake this place will be on our list of go to places.

Fresh food and good. A bit pricey but worth it.

Visiting cold lake for the weekend and we popped in here for lunch. This was the best food I’ve had in a long time! We ordered guacamole and chips which were fresh and delicious. I had the Le Negrita and I could not leave a bite behind! It was amazing! Service was fast and friendly. So glad we stopped here!!

Mamacitas never disappoints. I became gluten intolerant in a very bad way and I thought I could never eat there again but I was wrong. Not only are their dishes really delicious but they have SO many options for a gluten intolerant person. Mamacitas is my most favourite restaurant in Cold Lake. The authentic Mexican atmosphere is lovely. My daughter always goes to Mamacitas when she comes home to visit. If you haven’t tried it you will not be disappointed.

Each dish I had the pleasure of eating was absolutely wonderful and so tasty. The 3 milk cake is absolutely scrumptious, Mamacitas is #1 on my dine in list. Even their take out is on point. Thoroughly recommand this place.

I had a wonderful experience at Mamaciti's. The food was delicious, authentic and fresh. I ordered the fahitas, and they were amazing. The chicken was tender and juicy. The portion was generous. The service was friendly and attentive. Id recommended the charizos for desert. They were topped with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. The atmosphere was cozy and festive, with colorful decorations. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Mexican food.

WOW Amazing food. Had the EL JEFFE AN MUCHO NACHOS. Totally blew us away. You ever in cold lake , uts a must go to place. Prices are great, food is WOW good. Can't wait to go back .

The best Mexican restaurant I’ve been in 8 years I have in Canada. Not even in Vancouver I can find such a good food! 100% recommended. Forget the big fast food chains and support local! Delicious food!

Had the Chicken Enchiladas with Red Sauce. So good I had goosebumps. That's never happened. Flawless taste. Perfect amount of spice, sweet, and saltiness. Hearty food, fantastic portion for the price and the perfect level of fullness. Friendly waitress, warm, comforting environment. My new favourite restaurant!

I found Mamacitas restaurant when I thought Cold Lake was in the middle of nowhere and finding a food with an authentic feel would be very difficult.
The service was second to none. All the servers take a turn to come and ask how it goes, they help each other well,...they simply give off a positive energy👌👌.
Great food, refreshing drinks, reasonable price and friendly environment. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Outstanding. What a gem to find in any major metropolitan area, let alone small town anywhere. They have an outstanding selection of delicious choices and they truly taste authentic Mexican/Latin America. I had the pupusas, my wife had the lime chicken soup, and we shared the chilaquiles. Nice heat, awesome price and wonderful atmosphere. A must visit in Cold Lake, AB.

Amazing food, ample portions. Great atmosphere and friendly service. I had the pupusas they were delicious. My wife enjoyed the El Jefe. For dessert I enjoyed a bowl of their rice pudding. Top notch evening had on my anniversary. Thanks Mamacitas! You won't leave disappointed!

Are you a soldier who somehow found themselves on exercise in Cold Lake? Get off base somehow and eat here. The food is outstanding.
