We got quotes from a couple companies to paint the exterior of our house last year, we're first timers. Green Island was responsive, and competitive in price so a year later when we were ready to paint we called them up and they were able to schedule us in quicker than expected. So far the house looks absolutely amazing! The crew has been great and have pointed out a few things that I hadn't even thought of so that we get the best result. We're not quite done yet due to the weather not cooperating as expected but we're really happy so far. No complaints.

Green Island repainted the entire exterior of our house. The crew, led by Josh, was fantastic. Easy to communicate with, hard working, the result was immaculate. Definitely recommend, and will use Green Island for any future painting work.

I called four different painting companies and only two even responded. Green Island came and provided a quote within 48 hours. The quote was fair (and didn't increase after the job was done!) I chose Green Island because they have done many homes in the area, and their work in flawless and after many years the paint seems to keep its longevity compared to other paint jobs. I was very impressed with Green Island prep work. They pressure washed, sanded, caulked, taped and covered all windows. The team came in early like soldiers and worked until the sun came down, thus a fine job completed in only 4 days! All team members were professional and tidy! If you’re considering Green Island Painting, you won’t be disappointed. From the initial call to Curtis, to the on site meeting with a comprehensive estimate, at very reasonable rate, we felt comfortable proceeding. The crew arrived ready to tackle the preparations and painting without any problems. As it took 2 days to complete the job, supplies and equipment were secured at the end of the day. The following day like clockwork they finished the painting and towards the end of the day, invited us to walk the site with the head painter. A great local company with experience with jobs big and small, inside and out. If you have painting needs, give Curtis a call; you’ll be very pleased.

Our strata complex hired Green Island Painting to paint the exterior of 28 townhouse units. Curtis was one of only a few painting contractors to provide a quote. The price was competitive and we’re more than satisfied with their work. The painters were punctual, respectful, responsive and conscientious about their work. Curtis and Cordell are exceptional with customer service. Any concerns from unit owners and strata council, and there were very few, were promptly addressed. We’d highly recommend Green Island Painting to anyone in need of painting services.

First of all, Green Island Painting provided a very competitive quote to get my cedar shakes, gables & window trim stained. They honoured their project date and completed the job quickly. Curtis as project manager, has excellent management & communication skills. He was so prompt & professional with all of his communications, and demonstrated great integrity in providing above board solutions & work.
As well, TJ & Kevin did an outstanding job in their work with great detail, accuracy, & promptness, and were a pleasure to work with as you can see how much they love their work!

We loved the Green Island Painting team. They are amazing at what they do, responsive, committed to their words & job. My request was at very short notice and they managed delivery on time with quality work. We had movers who damaged the paint during the furniture move but Curtis was so accommodating & he fixed the damage very next day. He and Matt did make sure we are happy with paint job at our new home. We loved their service and adding to our favorite content list. Keep up the good work guys :)

I have to post this to show the integrity of Curtis and his company. We had some issues with our deck paint lifting the year after he had painted it. Curtis assumed that it was the paint that we had picked out and suggested he re-do it at a reduced rate with the paint he recommended. We agreed to it.

Sadly, the next year the same thing happened even with his paint. Curtis was concerned that this was happening yet again. He phoned the paint manufacturer and the paint manufacturer told him that it probably was moisture from underneath the deck lifting it up. None the less, and on his own time and dime, Curtis brought a team over to redo it yet again.
I can’t believe he did that for us. He did it to try to make us happy, and I want him to know that this gesture was incredible!
This past year, the paint lifted yet again. Curtis and the paint manufacturer were right. It would’ve just kept continuing to happen.
This year we had to redo the entire deck with composite.
This is a heartfelt thank you to Curtis for going WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND for a customer.
Curtis is a good and as honest businessman as you will ever find and always employs a team of respectful and dedicated workers.

Curtis and his team painted the exterior of our house in May 2022. We had an excellent experience. Curtis has a strong work ethic and is organized. He is very good at communicating and let us know when they would be there and how the job was progressing. He asked questions, and clarified anything not clear. He’s accountable, professional and always shows up when he says he will. He has a great team of workers as well. He was realistic in terms of when he could book us in, and how long it would take. That is, we felt we could trust his word. Would I recommend Curtis and his team for an exterior paint job? Absolutely!

We are preparing my in-laws house for sale (an estate) and had Curtis come to do all of the exterior trim and doors (including garage bay doors) and one ceiling inside. We’ve used Curtis’s team on our own home twice before and couldn’t be happier with his responsiveness and the speed and professionalism of his crews.

I hired Curtis and his crew to put new exterior paint on my house this summer. Picking a painter to completely redo the exterior colour palette of your home can be pretty stressful—it’s a big, high-visibility job that has the potential to go sideways, with lots of smaller decision points along the way. From the beginning the owner, Curtis, made the process manageable, starting with his responsiveness pre-quote, the very detailed quote, the questions he asked and the options and recommendations offered. He scheduled my job in as soon as weather permitted, and his team worked hard to complete the project in a timely way. Site manager Matt and the team were pleasant and respectful. Curtis checked in on site most days and maintained good communication throughout the project. The paintwork was beautifully done and stands up to close inspection. Some of the metal elements, such as the soffits, look factory finished. The final invoice was again highly detailed and within budget. I’m pleased with my choice and would happily recommend Green Island Painting or have them back on another project.
