Bighorn Inn & Suites

So sad to hear this iconic gem will be demolished, with next month being it's last 😢.

Many reviews are so negative and it breaks my heart.

Is it old - yes. Dated - absolutely. Is there marked up showers, floors, walls, etc - of course! But you can see that they do their best.

Our room was dust free, vacuumed, with clean bedding and you cannot beat the price! And the stand alone fan in the room that had some serious jam, which made our sleep that much better lol.

Service has always been topnotch. And a special shout out to the girl at the desk when we got there Saturday; still 26° degrees outside when we got there (5:30pm) and there she was, with a smile on her face in that sweltering office!

Thank you Bighorn Inn, for always being there when I needed you. You will be sorely missed. Because there was nothing even close your price range, short of a hostel in the area.

I pray something affordable goes up in your place... but let's face it, it probably won't.

Thank you to the staff at Bighorn Inn. All staff were welcoming. Rooms are clean, place is friendly and prices can’t be beat. Will definitely stay again. 👍👍 Also big plus for accommodating accessibility for older guests. Mobility friendly 😊 Great road side stay. Big rooms! Rooms stay cool and fan works great. 4 day stay from Ontario, no complaints from the 2.5 grandma’s who enjoyed their stay.

If I could leave a 10 star review I would, the staff was very helpful and the the hotel was very lively. The tv was in amazing quality and shape (unlike other Hotels >:( ....) Good price too, will definitely be back.... Few red stains on the wall but nothing to bad or concerning.

Hotel is in a very convenient location and excellent view . Clean & rates are lower then other hotels, friendly staff. Lots of space for RV & big truck parking. nice breakfast place just next door. Me and family stay here and enjoyed it so far. If you need extra stuff the gas station is there.

Whoever is working tonight (didn't get your name, sorry!) is absolutely fantastic. Super nice, friendly, accommodating and helpful! Room is perfect for what we need!

Only negative worth mentioning is that the Wi-Fi is unbelievably poor lol. Might just be having issues right now. Currently waiting for a 240p YouTube video to buffer. ....aaaany minute now. Still though, clean rooms, friendly staff, affordable, comfy bed, great views, solid place 👌

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our room. The price was great, staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was in a great location, close to Husky gas station and restaurant. Very nice place to stay and service was great.

The mountain views from our room were lovely and stunning!

The stay was amazing. We were about to move and decided to stay there. Rooms where clean and perfectly maintained. Staff was super helpful and friendly to guide me through near by attractions. I would highly recommend staying.

I had to cancel my booking last minute, clearly after their policy states I would be reimbursed for my booking. They could have charged me the full amount, but only billed me $20 for my extremely late cancellation. The staff member on the phone was extremely considerate, as we could not make our trip down, due to the fires. Thank you for being flexible for us!

I like it. Fella at the front desk was nice. Sweet big horn sheep mural on the side, convenient convenience store next door, they do that isosolese triangle thing on the toilet roll which shows that they care. Tv. Didn't check if it works. Probably got nice views but it's dark right now. Free ice, beds are comfy with retro sheets. Yeah. I gave 5 stars even though it's probably a 3.8 but I wanted to up the overall score you know?

Me and family went to stay here and enjoyed it so far. If you need extra stuff the gas station is there. Very spacious. Internet may be slow but other than that, good.

It was great stay at this hotel. Good location & very near to Banff. Old but spacious & clean room. Good customer service. Fantastic view. Very convenient because close to main highway exit. I recommend this hotel.

Very convenient location, close to highway, 10 minutes from beautiful Canmore Alberta, nextdoor to gas station, restaurant, a beautiful nature trail on the back of the property, 5 minutes from Upper Spray Falls, with views of gorgeous 🥰 mountains that surround the property , it's definitely the best Buck for your dollar, the rooms are cozy and there's a common area where you can microwave food, don't expect luxury here, however if you are likely to go on hikes and enjoy what Alberta has to offer and at the end of day come back to a comfortable bed to rest than this is the place for you.

It was a really good stay! Sure it's not the fanciest place but it's comfortable and clean. Decent price for the rooms and doesn't have a lobby really.

The staff was really polite and helpful. View from the hotel balcony is awesome.clean and quiet. Totally worth it for the price we paid.

Spent a couple days hiking in the area and stayed here. Owners and staff were friendly and courteous, space had a very rustic feel, and beds were huge and spacious. I'd come back again in a heartbeat.

Cheap cheap cheap. Only 5 mins away from canmore. The hotel is not the newest but i don't really care since you are not travellimg to the rockies to watch TV. So that's perfect for me!

If you ever go to Canmore, Alberta and searching for easy & quick availability with a good location in competitive price, then stay at Bighorn Inn & Suites, it's very clean, friendly staff, nice mountain views and peaceful place to stay and even close to highway.

Nice Rooms with an amazing view! Great service! I was overall happy with my stay! Highly recommended.
