very pretty amazing place! couple of trails started just right here! we did one and was happy that we decided to do that. nice toilet, map and not a lots of parking. love it! one of the best hikes!

The parking is closed in the winter but the skating can be nice! Spray lakes are great for skating if the wind blows snow across the surface making it glossy! Doesn't happen every year though! Dress warm - gets really cold up there and be prepared for emergency as there is no cell reception up there.

Great lake in the Kananaskis. The Road leading to it is gravel/dust road. The Lake is amazing and there are many trails around in the area that you can do. There are also picnic tables. The water is cold so not really something you will swim in. There is a boat launch area for the Lake. Although, I did not see any boats when I went there.

Reminds me the bessegen ridge walk in Norway. Spray lake is a pristine area. We climbed up Mt. Sparrowhawk, weather held pretty good and didn't have any issues with rain or lightning.

Facilities were clean. Nice picnic area right on the lake. Also the trail head for some very beautiful hikes of varying difficulty.

Absolutely serene, within easy driving distance from Calgary.
Beatiful and quiet not as touristy as Canmore and Banff, a little hidden gem!

Probably one of the nicest spot to stop for a lunch it's just by spray lake and the views are amazing. If you're ready for adventure try to hike Read's ridge and sparrowhawk mountain. Once again it was so beautiful up there but not for the faint of heart

Good spot to jump in the reservoir, hike up to Mt Sparrowhawk, or the Sparrowhawk tarns. There's an outhouse, it's down the 742 gravel road, usually not too crowded, although 2020 is a different yr.

We started here to do Sparrowhawk Tarns Trail. A very good hike. The facilities were clean and well stocked.
