Original Joe's

We were so thrilled to find out we could bring our dog, Belle on patio. It was our last lunch together before Belle and I headed back to Thompson saying goodbye to my son as he embarks on his journey through first year of university. Staff was amazing, food was great and we had our dog dining with us, simply amazing!! Thank you Original Joe’s!!

Haven't been here before. I decided to check it out for supper. My wife had the hhaddock stack Burger and I had the ace Burger. Both plates were amazing at the portions were generous and our server was absolutely phenomenal. We didn't have to wait long for our food and the restaurant is nice and clean and well-maintained. We found that the prices were reasonable and we both left there with still a little bit of food on our plates and full stomachs great job highly recommend going here.

To begin with the overall experience was exceptional. Food was fantastic and filling. This would include the special order poutine for poutine week. Drinks were on point. Server was very friendly, knowledgeable and prompt.

Had a lovely dinner here with my dad yesterday. Our experience was made memorable by Rebecca, our server, whose warmth and extensive menu knowledge elevated the evening. Her attentive service and thoughtful recommendations truly made our night. I throughly enjoyed my cajun chicken burger while my dad said the french onion soup was delicious! We will definitely be back!

My very first visit to Original Joe’s and I guarantee it won’t be my last. Both my wife and I ordered the fish and chips. Fish done to perfection, glistening and moist on the inside, crispy crunchy on the outside. Fries excellent, lots of tartar sauce and ketchup. So much food, neither of us could finish!
As a bonus, we found out that our dog is welcome on their patio so needless to say, Fionnlagh is coming along on our next visit!

Great place… smooth fast service

I recently attended a birthday group dinner at Original Joe's and the experience was absolutely delightful, worthy of a five-star rating. Although we had reservations, we were a bit disappointed that we couldn't move our tables together. However, this was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise fantastic evening.

The food was the star of the night. Every dish we ordered was great, satisfying everyone in our party. There was an instance where our chips and dip order was mixed up, but the staff handled it with such professionalism. To our pleasant surprise, they compensated for the mistake by offering us an extra appetizer, a gesture that was both unexpected but highly appreciated.

Despite the restaurant being packed on a Saturday night, which understandably led to slower drink service, our waitress was exceptional in keeping us informed. She was attentive and communicative, explaining that the bar was backed up, which helped set our expectations.

Overall, the quality of food, the level of customer service, and the atmosphere of Original Joe's made our birthday celebration special. It's rare to find a place that combines great food with attentive service, especially on a busy night. I would definitely recommend Original Joe's to anyon. I am eagerly looking forward to returning.

Original Joe’s has a fantastic selection of meals with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options as well. Their menu has a lot of variety and I have never been disappointed when I eat there.

I have tried the quinoa and mushroom veggie burger and butter chicken (substitute soy chicken for a vegetarian version) and most recently, the west coast chop salad (add soy chicken).

Their food is always tasty and flavourful! The service is friendly, efficient and professional. I like the atmosphere in the lounge with dim lighting, nice booths and high top tables and a cozy feel.

Would highly recommend for a dinner out!

Food is great. The selection is wide enough that there’s always something on the menu that’s appealing.

The only downside is it’s quite noisy when it’s busy.

Recently visited with my husband for my birthday dinner. The food was fantastic and our waitress was AMAZING! She was just so friendly and could answer every question we had about the menu on the spot! And she wasn't annoyed when we asked her to take our pic! Adrianna - thank you, we will definitely be back!!

Fish and chips used to be amazing but now the portions are very small and not good probably will not go back very disappointing

Recently visited and had an amazing experience!! Adrianna was very well mannered and attentive. She assured we were taken care of from start to finished, we never felt like a bother. Will be returning for sure

Been coming here for a little while, but today the service was exceptional. I was in for my pre game meal before a big playoff rec hockey game at the iceplex and really enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. Adrianna was great with bringing drinks and any service we needed. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

Good food. Good staff. Location is good. Always clean and not overly busy. I’ve tried most of the stuff on the menu and it’s good. But usually resort to the original burger or the Kona burger with house salad and fries.

I had the best experience at this location! My server Adrianna was super helpful and sweet! She made sure our table was always taken care of and was amazing with her service!
