Nothing like satisfying your Bar I Deluxe Fries cravings..picture in this review are the chicken fingers with deluxe fries..one being banana peppers and mozzarella and the other herb and garlic!

Never disappointed..Bar I has been a staple since I was my teens. Spent my early twenties celebrating my birthday here and I have the best memories..definite changes in crowds over the decades..but the food brings me back!!

Excellent time. Their burgers are worth the trip, and so many options, on bun, artisan bread, or wrap. But also their fries are served with lots of flare, the cheese and bell pepper, the pesto and feta, the herb garlic. All amazingly flavourful. Great service. Great food.

Margaritas are salty but good, they are also strong. And there’s dogs on the patio, which is the most important part

The bartender jemmery brought me a ‘finger bowl’ along side my wings. It was tangy, delicious and got spicier after each wing. 10/10 experience… only thing missing was tattoo guy.

While I continue to hope that one day Bar Italia will add a few more light bulbs in their establishment, I cannot deny that their various menu items make a regular rotation on my list of cravings.

Their deluxe fries are an incredible side to the awesome sandwiches, pizzas, and affordable burgers. Good drink selections. I recommend trying Stappi over soda water with lemon for a non alcoholic, cocktail-like beverage. They also serve a better Greek salad than the Greek place across the street.

Go in the morning for the best coffee and chill atmosphere. The booths are equipped with plugs and make for a great workspace.

Went here for the first time with friends for lunch, so didn't know what to expect. Was not disappointed at all! Service was awesome! We started on the patio but due to the wasps, we ended up inside. Enjoyed both so it was all good. Huge portions and very tasty food. Will definitely go back!

Where else in Manitoba can you get a great espresso, a stiff drink and play some pool/pinball after midnight?

Great food at great prices! Staff is always friendly and even when they're really busy, they do a great job at addressing any delays instead of pretending there's no issue. In all my interactions with staff and management, I can say that they have integrity.
I have been going to Bar I for either food and/or drinks for over 10 years and I hope to go for at least another 10 years more!

An absolutely perfect place for a casual drink or a meal that never disappoints. Very kind and courteous staff members who do their best to accommodate all requests and (very politely) monitor patrons to ensure that social distancing is observed, which is very much appreciated! Felt very safe and well taken care of. Best Poke bowl I have ever had anywhere – absolutely delicious and a very generous portion! Thank you, we will be back again soon!

Did not eat, just drinks on the patio. Table of 6. Good amount of sunshine, drinks were good and reasonably priced. Service was very good.

I’ve only ordered their food off Skip the Dishes and I have to say that this is one of the best options for food delivery in terms of value and food integrity! Huge portions of their deluxe fries and onion rings, burgers and sandwiches well packed together and not to mention it all tastes so great! Their basic burger has lots of flavour and toppings, the avocado veggie burger is fantastic (although runny egg doesn’t translate well with delivery, it was still mostly in one piece and wonderfully messy!), sandwiches are well piled high with ingredients. Definitely a Skip the Dishes go-to.

If I ever make it down in person, I’ll update my review but for now it’s based solely on what comes out of delivery!

Love coming to this local bar. The atmosphere is good. Sometimes there are alot of younger people but usually you get a good crowd. The bartenders are friendly and quick. When I go here I usually order the salt and pepper wings, herb and garlic fries, yam fries and quesadilla. Everything is good though!

Staff is always friendly! Great food and selection of drinks.. At affordable prices!! Comfortable booths to sit in if you want a more intimate setting or amble bar seating available.. Tons of activities: sports on flatscreens, pool table, pinball, VLT.. Wonderful patio in the summer, but just as good in the winter!!

Josh (the manager, I think?) made an outstanding double tequila oat milk paralyzer -- unlike anything I've had before!! Highly recommend their espresso martinis as well. Wow.
