We were very pleased to have Matthew Morin to help us plan our future services and finalize our resting place. He explained everything thoroughly for us. I would highly recommend Hatley Memorial Gardens to any of my friends and family.

Matthew Morin helped my family during a stressful and emotional time. His bedside manner was incredible. He got my sisters headstone delivered on the day of her funeral..something we didn’t think would happen originally. His coordination combined with his customer service was outstanding. I recommend him and Hatley to anyone that needs someone to go the extra mile. Very impressive.

I have been dealing with Matthew for my final resting information and he has been awesome I highly recommend him. He is very patient and listens very carefully to what I was saying and what was important to me, one thing he did not do was push me and I appreciated that to no end. I get inundated very easily and he took his time and let me talk and I think he was wonderful.

Chad O'Neill just helped us with the arrangements for my uncle and my cousin and my goodness did he do an absolutely lovely job. He was compasionate, organized, communicative through every part of the "not so fun" process of laying your loved ones to rest. I would highly recommend the Hatley Memorial crew to anyone that is needing guided support through the loss of their loved one(s). The grounds at Hatley are clean, meticiously maintained, and absolutely peaceful. Again, I highly recommend Chad and Hatley Memorial Gardens. Thanks Chad again for everything!

I just wanted to give a Big Thank You to Hatley Memorial Gardens and Sands Funeral Chapel. Not knowing what was expected of me in arranging a funeral and at the same time dealing with my emotions in the death of my mother left me feeling a little over whelmed. I met with Julie (Sands) and Chad (Hatley). Julie was lovely, knowledgeable and chatty which I found totally disarming. Chad was reserved and respectful but once in a conversation his energy and knowledge was apparent. He was very good at producing a picture of what we might like on a headstone and adapting as needed.Thanks to both of you for being there for myself and family during this difficult time.

He knows my family’s story and has literally gone above and beyond
I also contacted him to help me with my deceased grandparents whose ashes I have and I wanted to put them somewhere to remember them.

Chad was very professional, thoughtful and caring with us when we were at Hatley unexpectedly in June 2023. It was a difficult time for us and he was amazing and very patient, while we made many changes to our monument order.

My mother and I met with Bruce Simpson last week to make arrangements for her future needs. This is a difficult situation and Bruce made it very comfortable. We felt that she was heard and got what she wanted. We left with all of her arrangements in place and very happy with the experience. She is relieved to know this is now done.

Bruce Simpson provided excellent assistance - he was friendly, knowledgeable about all the various services, took time to explain options, was patient and applied no pressure, responded to questions via email, on the telephone and in person; we were very satisfied with his attention to detail and genuine interest in what we were hoping to get.

My Dad and I met with Bruce inquiring about the free will kit and Bruce was friendly and knowledgeable answering all our questions. I recommend giving him a call if you want any information regarding will and end of life plans. No sales pressure just great customer service!

At a time like this your emotions are messed up and intense. Bruce was wonderful, I never felt pressured in any way. After I left I found I had other questions, when I called back they where there for me in any way I needed. I Thank You all so much for making the hardest time of my life a little more tolerable and undestandable.

Dealt with Matthew Morin and he made planning a funeral caring and not intimidating and very easy step by step on what was right for me can’t thank him enough for the care and his pleasant friendly manner to make a very sad conversation to becoming an understanding of what to expect and need to make the ones left behind have less stressed
