Beautiful campground. Some sites a little tricky to get into but most are large and very well treed.
Washrooms were clean. Outhouse lite and clean.
If you look closely in one of the pics...we even had a Christmas tree, all decorates.

Its our first time to camp here.
A22 is our site. We love it and we will be back again and again. My kids enjoyed nd my husband catched fish. Site are clean and the water is also clean. Theres a washroom and shower. Perfect site for camping. Edmonton to coldlake is only 3hrs and 18mnts and you will have perfect camping😁

Update: yes we came back again😁 for our second time of camping our site no. A16.
It was amazing the site is so big for us. I wish i have some friends or family to come with us with this big site.

1) i want to thank the care taker for doing good job. The wash room are clean, they are friendly and always smiling with us.

2) the site is clean

3) in the middle of the night my husband woke up and he saw security guard. Its nice to know that you felt secure in this site.

This campground is our favorite in the list. Im sure every year we will comeback.its nice to stay here and my kids also happy🥰

Awesome place to go camping. Reasonable rates, amazing sites. Great view of the lake from our campsite. Only downside is showers are still closed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Staff was quite friendly, and accommodating. The lake has crystal clear water, but is a tad on the cold side. We were lucky enough to be there when the weather was plus 36 degrees. I believe it was the hottest day of the year in cold lake while we were there. The lake was very refreshing. The public beach also has a zip line directly into the water which the kids found fantastic.

Amazing staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and informative. We stayed over the mother's day weekend and they were very thoughtful with bringing all the moms flowers. Campground was well maintained.

Soooo quiet for being in town! Great crystal clear water, definitely lives up to its name as being cold though, I'm wondering if it warms come end of summer. So many waterfront spots! Really well run spot and the camp owners are very very friendly and accommodating!!! We will be back!

This is an awesome campground, it's very well run by super friendly people. We would definitely like to come back. Everything is well maintained, clean outhouses and playground. The sites along the lake are beautiful, we were across the road from them and we still had a good view. The sites are okay size, more compacted by the trees, but we were still able to get our big fifth wheel in with some expert dad driving and a 15-point turn. It is dog friendly, there were a lot of dogs. We had the unfortunate experience of a dog a few sites over from us that barked non-stop during the day, but when its owners were back in the late afternoon it was quiet. Quiet hour was reasonable, it wasn't dead silent some people still had spirited fireside conversations and music but it wasn't at all a disturbance or crazy loud. Overall an awesome weekend was had by all!

Cold Lake is an amazing community. The lake offers a wide variety of activities for all ages. The campground is well kept. They beach is continually being improved. A splash park for children and a zip line into the lake for all ages have recently been installed. It offers a great selection of parking close to the beach. It is a great summer location to relax in the sun. There are some great restaurants close by. There are fun winter activities as well, such as ice fishing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross country skiing.

Campground is clean, very well placed for convenience best part was the 2 working there (Ester & Rod) very polite, and very helpful. We experienced some trouble with our truck upon arrival. They helped out with getting 5th in and gave some help with local mechanics. We stayed 4 days and had a great time at this Campground. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend staying here for a clean, safe, and friendly stay.

We had booked a site at Evergreen Birch Resort back in March. They did not give us the site we booked and instead gave a site on a barren hilltop with no shade. We were very unhappy with the site and so looked for a different site for our remaining nights. We checked out the Cold Lake campground and Gabi opened up the office late in the evening to help us find a site.

Gabi worked very hard to find us a site and that was available from June 25 to July 1. She gave us a couple of nice sites that were free for a day or two less than we needed and by the time we returned from looking at them she had found us 2 nice sites that were available for our whole stay. We moved in the next morning and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The couple (Wolfgang and Gabi) running the campground treated us very well and made sure we well looked after. We loved the spacious treed campsites and the quiet surroundings. It was a place where we could sit and relax. We like our space when camping and so were pleased with the large treed campsites that have lots of room in between. The campground had a lot of empty spaces on the weekdays in June and so was very quiet. The bathrooms and showers were in good condition and were clean. The campsites were clean and level.

The showers require a loonie to operate them and the $1 coin gives enough time to have a shower. Some days the showers seemed to be very inconsistant in temperature and there is no way to adjust the temperature, however other days it was fine.

There is a beach area along the waterfront on Cold Lake. The campground is also a 10 minute walk to the large beach area in the town.

We had a great stay. The showers were awesome. One dollar lasted 5 min and was nice and clean. Sites were big with lots of privacy if needed.

We had a super stay here.
Having grown up in Grand Center, I have fond memories of MD Park. The parties, the fights, it was a good place to grow up. At least some of us did.
Cheers!

With Lake front sites complete with water and electricity, the Cold Lake MD campground is situated perfectly just down from Kinosoo Beach. Group use area, beach volleyball and a kids playground, it's the BEST campground within and near Cold Lake.

Don & Cathy were extermemly gracious and helpfull hosts. They were friendly, knowledgeable and 3 times sold us ice afgter hours. The campground was always clean, with a good layout, good accessability and lots of trees surrounding campsites. The public beach area was fabulous and the water clean and cool.
