Jimco Electric

Jimco Electric saved the day for the sale of my house with aluminum wiring. The buyer's home inspector found some pig-tailed connections (aluminum to copper) that they didn't like and it could have been a deal breaker because approval of the inspection was a condition on the sale of the home.

I called Jimco Electric on a Thursday and explained my situation, asking if I could get them to come in and check every single outlet and switch and to verify the safety (up to code) of the overall home wiring. They asked if Friday (tomorrow) would work, I was pleasantly surprised that they could get in so quickly as it was exactly what I needed for my schedule to close the deal on the house.

They dedicated 2x electricians for 7 hours to go through the outlets, switches and general condition of the wiring. Additionally they fixed a two-way switch that had never worked right and they also sorted out a phantom switch that seemed to do nothing by adding a stairwell light and 2-way switch to the circuit. Once they were all done, their master electrician Jim signed off on a notice indicating the inspection carried out verified all the wiring/switch/outlets to 2024 code. I relayed this document to my realtor and consequently the buyers who in turn removed the remaining condition for the sale of my house.

Not only did Jimco Electric do the work professionally and thoroughly, but they charged a reasonable rate for having their team members at my house working for 7 hours. When I arrived at their office in person to pay the bill, I was greeted by a friendly, caring staff that helped me receive the documentation I required as well as close out my invoice. They truly put the customer first and provide an old-school quality service that is a rare treat to find nowadays.

I highly recommend Jimco Electric for any of your home electrical needs, they will get it done right and not break the bank in doing so. I, for one, will be a repeat customer.

Fantastic work, very tidy lines and clean-up once they were done. The technicians took the time to explain some concepts of electrical and were able to meet my requests with excellent results.
