Jonny Waffles on the water

It was extremely busy when we arrived due to the airshow in town. The staff dealt with the busyness, the kitchen was quite behind as we sat for almost 45 minutes waiting for our meal but we expected it. The food was 100% worth the wait and the service was kind and patient.

Jonny Waffles was delicious and the service was friendly. They even asked if my infant needed anything. The food took a bit to prepare but was well worth the wait! Would definitely recommend.

One of my wife’s favourites is Johnny waffles down on the outdoor patio overlooking beautiful cold lake marina. The food is amazing and unique, who doesn’t like waffles. The staff is incredibly accommodating. They also have an ice cream booth for families to get a scoop will walking along the marina dock. What a great locally owned restaurant!

I’ve gone here twice the food is amazing people are friendly and the view is nice any time of year. Waffle everything!!

Our favourite and the best breakfast place in Cold Lake! A must if you love waffles! Even the eggs benedict is served on waffles! Service and food is amazing!

Great food and excellent service. The inside is a bit too small for my liking but the food and service make up for it. Also there's a nice view of the marina from inside which I thought was pretty cool.

Beautiful place to go in the summer. Outdoor seating view was stunning and location great for walk afterwards. Had a very nice server, although service slightly on the slower end. Food tasted great.

Service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. Next time I will likely make a reservation, although we only had to wait 5 minutes for a table. Super clean and friendly place in a cute location!

We were in Cold Lake for the night and stopped for breakfast on the way out of town. So glad we did! The service was outstanding, and the food was delicious! Waffles are surprisingly light and fluffy, and the hollandaise sauce is amazing. And they make it in house. Will definitely be my breakfast spot any time I'm in Cold Lake.

Great service, lovely view, and great food

Super friendly staff. We went in for icecream and it was awesome. I had the bubble cone it was really good. Only negative comment I have is it was a little expensive although if you treat this as a dessert treat like from a restaurant it's not too expensive. The menu for lunch looked good although a little quirky. I really enjoyed the bubble cone and like I said the young lady who served us was absolutely wonderful.

Once again I was not let down by the quality of food and staff at Jonny Waffles. This is a small buisness that prepares all their waffles when they are ordered, not pre cooked and kept warm under a heat lamp. If you want food served fast and mass produced, may I recommend a fast food restaurant. I hate to state the obvious but if a restaurant is busy, you may have to wait for your food. If you are worried call ahead and talk to the staff to see when the off peak hours are and go then.

Really liked the waffle dogs (neat twist) and the waffle potatoes, mango burst were excellent a was the service and view. Prices were decent...worth stopping in for a bite. Next time we'll have to try the fried chicken, it's apparently awesome.
