Freson Bros. Grande Prairie

Newly renovated and looking great. Lovely wide aisles and great selection. Good lighting and trolleys work well. Store has a good deli, bakery and florist. Really liked the home decor pieces - not a huge selection but great pieces and prices. Lots of parking. Ladies washroom needs some repair. Good rewards system.

Our favourite grocery store. Bread is the best, pork is the best. Renovations have improved the store, but are they complete? What I love is lots of parking, no crowds and when there are more than 3 ppl in a line up, they get another cashier (who are quick and friendly with a ready smile)

Clean, bright, well organized. Staff is very friendly, and helpful.

The bakery and meat department are top notch.

Never know what you might find here. Always find something different with every visit

By far the most friendly and helpful staff of any grocery store in the area in my opinion. If it wasn't so far out of my way I would shop there more often. I love the odd ball stuff they carry that the others dont(especially the crush and hires pops!). Where else can you buy steak, flowers and fireworks all in one place!

Glad they were open late. Saved a bunch on junk food versus going to the 24 corner store.

Friendly cashier too. Even tho it was closing time no one was rushed out and that was a welcome change

This store is always tip tip in service, cleanliness and service! For 3 decades I've always enjoyed the atmosphere! They carry Alberta, home grown, organic products and the meat department is competitive with all competitors but with locally grown products! Pls support places like this instead if Costco or God forbid China products at Walmart! Ban Walmart, they support child trafficking/blood ect! Thx IGA! Lifetime supporter! 10 of 10! 👊👍👌❣

Amazing is one word to sum it up.
We all feel helpless and edgy now under the various circumstances we live under.
The fact that Freson Brothers has committed to buying Alberta Beef and I can shop there and show my support makes me feel empowered.
The fact that there was not a bombardment of signage, floor directions, security, suspicious looks from others, etc..was so welcomed and necessary to save my sanity.
Freson Brothers you will always have my support, thank you.

Recently started going to this store and their meat is superior to any other grocery store in town in my opinion. To add to the fact that whenever you see an employee there they say hello and ask how your day is. Feels like small town store where everyone knows everyone. :)

Great deals. Really good produce. Little bit higher price than I'd like to see for most items. But most of it is local so that's also a bonus.

Bought some of the best cucumbers I've ever seen from Peter in produce.

I love the aisles as they are wide and uncluttered. The Florist is a nice touch. The produce is fresh and looks wonderful.

It's the best place to get salt beef or pork riblets. They actually had Chalkers this time

Not enough people shop here, friendly staff and food product selection.

Locally owned and operated business, quiet practically have the whole store to yourself and has everything you need!
