Balzac Campground RV Park & Storage

We have been here for just a little over a month and service has been excellent! Has a laundry room with only 2$ to wash and 2$ to dry, and it has always been very clean everytime we went. Woman bathroom with shower and it's only a dollar per shower. Men bathroom with showers you need to get a token, doesn't except loonies. But has always been very clean as well.
But overall the campground is very big and very busy with kids park, basketball court, horse shoes and even mini golf. We definitely recommend everyone

We visit our kids once a year in Calgary for a few months in our RV Motorhome and alway stay at Balzac Campground RV Park.

Our experience at this campground has always been great every year with good sites, decent weekly and monthly price, staff are very friendly and helpful, and the owner is very friendly and supportive. As well, location for us is between Calgary and Airdrie with the main highway a few minutes away so very convenient between two cities.

We will continue staying at this campground when visiting our kids every year.

This park is very accommodating. The owners are great, the park staff bend over backwards to make sure your stay is comfortable. In the winter they did their best to keep all the lanes were cleared of snow. They have fixed the main roads. They are making the environment much more better everyday. Keep up the good work.

This was the most awesome place to stay!
Quiet except for train and highway traffic, but no rowdy people or partys. Not a lot of people driving in and out all hours of the night.
The bathrooms were spotless, and FREE SHOWERS!!
The staff was so nice I gave her my phone number so that she can contact us if she is ever in our home area!

Beautiful views, and wildlife right in the campground!
Just minutes from downtown Golden, so very convenient if you needed to run to town.
We WILL be staying here again in the future, and telling all our friends about it!!

Stayed here a few years ago, wasn't too impressed! Ended up driving through last weekend and gave it another shot.... I don't normally leave ratings but the changes were pretty impressive I thought it definitely deserved my input ;)

Bathrooms nice and clean. Very pleasant and eager to help (if needed) staff, nice and quiet (no crazy parties), pet friendly, seemed like there was more trees (Nice touch guys). Looks like we came a weekend too early as they were just getting a playground set up for the kiddos!! I think some sort of store was getting set up in the main check in too!! Great work guys!!! Awesome staff , very friendly place! Perfect place to stay while we enjoyed all that Calgary has to offer. Clean bathrooms, clean camp sites , very well maintained. Park for kids, basketball court , horseshoes, mini golf. Me & my family felt welcomed, no issues at all , will definitely be back!!

We were treated so well by Lisa and her family . Our brothers celebration of life was held at their day use area. Some friends and family stayed overnight in the camping spots. Thank you again for making this day so memorable.

Great place to park and stay awhile when visiting Alberta. Very close to Calgary and Airdrie and only a short drive to Edmonton or the Mountains. Great place to setup shop while adventuring the west.
Well maintained and clean bathrooms, showers and laundry area. Very affordable for either a short stay or a long visit.

Should have written this months ago! Stayed here in July 2018 for several nights. Very helpful cordial staff, wonderful site and easy access to Cross Iron mills! Great base camp to explore the Calgary area from. We had a terrific time and want to return sometime!

Best place to stay when you're RVing through Calgary or staying for a little while. Well kept, great location, and the owner is an awesome guy. Sites are well equipped and the amenities, like the playground and the basketball court, make the stay even better. Highly recommended.

Under new management. Please Don't listen to previous reviews as it is not the case now. I have come here for many years to visit my relatives and there is immense improvement and Sal and Lisa are very pleasant, professional and always ensure their customers have a wonderful safe time. Great playground for the kids, Very clean washrooms and laundry area. It's very nice and relaxing. I would definetly stay here.

The location is great as it’s just off the highway, and maintained well. Clean bathrooms. Nice that it’s close to a big shopping mall. The staff also very helpful and accommodating. Several amenities available to use such as laundry and wifi. Will stay again!

This is the best camp ground around Calgary. I have stayed there manny times including our entire work force from TCPL,Husky,MazTec. Extremely accommodating, amazing service. Highly recommended by many in the oil & gas industry, if your a welder/pipe fitter carpenter or any other tradesman working out of town and need a peaceful place to stay well look no further this place is for you. Great place to stay! I enjoyed my time here with my family. It was a convenient location for the kids! There was a big play structure that they enjoyed as well! Cross iron mills is just across the highway same with the casino

Easy pull thru camping! Perfect in the city just minutes from the mall, Airdrie is like 7 min away for your ice and groceries and 10min from the park and ride to get to the stampede grounds front entrance for 2 bucks. Always going back there!

Great place for camping and storage in-between 2 big cities (Calgary/Airdrie) in the heart of Alberta. Right beside one of the biggest malls in Canada. Guys, this is more urban style camping. Lots of space for RVs and close to EVERYTHING! that is the important thing.

Other reviewers expect a forest, haha learn your geography before you complain. Balzac Camp ground RV Park and Storage highly recommended.

We had a pleasant stay at this campground, great friendly staff, clean facilities, and easy access to Calgary and Banff. Definitely staying again.

I didn't read any reviews for this place before staying and I'm glad I didn't because I may have avoided this place unjustly. The people were friendly and the facilities were clean and updated. Not only do we camp here, but we also store our trailer here too.

I have been coming to Balzac campground periodically for 3 yrs now and the improvements over that time have been substantial, as well the staff is always friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this campground!
