Prairie Sushi Restaurant

If your looking for Japanese cuisine, this is my number 1 place to go. Awesome service, and awesome food. In the picture is the 10pc super spider roll, pretty much just a dynamite roll but more bigger, more filling, and the perfect amount of crisp, seriously recommend. We also had the sweet n sour pork, which was very good too. Wasn't soggy, the sauce was perfect, and it also came with a side of rice. The thing i love about this place is that whenever you go there, you never get a dish thats mediocre, its always made perfectly. This place is a must whenever your in GP. 10/10

Had a chance to try many Japanese places in Grande Prairie.
This place is definitely one of the top Japanese restaurants in the city.
Went there 4 times in 3 weeks since our first visit. The price is not expensive for the quality of food you will get.
Rolls have good quality ingredients and we love Soft Clam in our Spider rolls.
Chirashi sushi is recommended if you enjoy raw fish. The amount of sashimi is just right and worth the relatively high price dishes.
We also tried Yakisoba and found that we could use some more beef in the dish but the taste is good.

One of the best seafood miso soups ever , it’s so hard to find a normal portion of miso especially with seafood , not the tiny bowl thing which is everywhere. Totally enjoyed my shrimp tempura and the sushi roll , huge portions and very friendly people work in here.

This is our go to place for sushi! Amazing sushi! Sweet & sour roll, and dragon is our favorite. The staff is always friendly, the know us by name and know our order! ❤❤

Have been eating here since the day they opened the doors. Still to this day some of the best sushi i have had in multiple cities and countries. The soups and hot entrees are also excellent. Very freindly staff, we love sitting at the bar and chatting with the chefs.

Restaurant still has a smell to it, like a minor gas leak. They have tried to fix I believe, but unsuccessful so far.

I was mildly amazed at the size of the menu. I have never been to a sushi restaurant before with that many amazing options. I went for Unagi because that's generally my favourite. But I tried a few options off of my partner that came with me's plate as well. The vegetables were crisp and fresh. The rice was perfect. The green tea was delicious. The price point was good. And the food was delicious. And as long as you don't order just a hand rolled cone the meal size is also fantastic. 👌 please try this place out. I was impressed and delighted.

Amazing sushi as always. Every time I come through here I always stop in and get some fresh sashimi. Definitely check this place out. Easily some of the best sushi around. Great sushi, well prepared (and nicely seasoned rice). Other places I’ve tried in GP don’t really know how to properly season their rice for whatever reason.. but this place gets it right. Love it, and will be back!

An authentic taste of Japanese dishes. Sushi’s and Sashimi’s are freshly made and tastes great. Great place and Customer service at its best! Kudos!

I Eat there about once a week. They just have it figured out there. The portions are fair and the quality is great. Well established Sushi spot.

Just ate here for the first time early this month and loved it so much we went back again last week. Fiance got a boat both times and finished it all, loved the sushi, and they allowed him to make modifications to his boat. I enjoyed the kapa rolls (not a fan of fish), beef and broccoli, and sweet and sour pork. Their stir fries were seriously the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten at pretty much all the Chinese joints in town. I love this place and their food so much I just want to go back again and again!

Staff is amazing everytime we go for dinner, food is always fresh and delicious. Look forward to our next sushi dinner night!
