Storage in Bancroft

I found the storage unit to be very clean and well-maintained. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Good but pricey

I phoned this storage company and was told by the "youngish" sounding woman that answered the phone that everybody was too busy to help me because they were all taking care of a bunch of sick dogs that required immediate veterinary care but she did offer to take my name and number and call me back when the canine emergency had passed but I never heard back from anyone and that was a week ago. This lack of customer service tells me everything that I need to know about doing business with this place and I feel fortunate because after reading through other reviews I realized that all of my stuff would be ruined by an infestation of mice at the property.

Mice, mice mice!

When I put the contents of my apartment into storage here one year ago I asked them if they had mice and they assured me they had never had mice. The next spring I took some stuff out and many mice had gotten into my storage locker chewing up things and leaving urine and feces on soft surfaces and in furniture. - what a mess. I told them about it and they said that this was the first complaint they ever had and that it would be brought to the managers attention to address and so I left it at that. When I returned in the fall to remove the rest of my contents the mice had been into more stuff and started chewing up my leather couch and destroying towels and sheets. I told the same person that I had mice in my locker and that they had done a lot of damage. The same person from last time told me that this was the first complaint of mice and that she would inform the manager about it.

My one star rating is not that they had an occasional mouse but that they were so dishonest about things. They lied to me 3 times and never even addressed the mouse issue.

I don`t trust this business. I had a lot of mouse damage from them. Do not store your things here.
