We love Lake Baptiste. Beautiful waters and love the fishing. There are plenty of public boat launches around the lake and it chains with 3 others. Beautiful sunsets

25 miles of boating. One of two premium lakes in the area. Most of the lake is 4-10 deep. Good fishing. High Falls Dam road is a nice walk.

I had an amazing time here. Stayed at my friends cottage...very beautiful for anyone who just wants to relax and kick back and forget about all your problems. I live in toronto..so this place is heaven for me. We took my friends boat sailed through the lake and saw this pirate ship which turned out to be someones house. And we even did some tubing and swimming and had a nice barbeque. I believe all of bancroft is beautiful. Will definitely go back again to baptiste lake.

Large lake, fairly quiet for the size and number of cottages. Very scenic. Lots of hiking around. 45 mins to Algonquin park

Gorgeous crisp clean lake....has a lake association guarding the preservation and cleanliness of the waterway and surrounding shoreline and maintaining the natural beauty of the area.
