This place is a must! To have more informations on Quebec City history or just to hang out. Sports: Cross-country skiing and skating in the winter time, roller or running otherwise. The colors of the nature, the air, the view. Everything is wonderful. This is truly the heart of the region. Have fun discovering Quebec's history, visit the Martello tours.

Wonderful walk through history - but has great hiking and walking trails through the woods as well. Nice pavilions and fountains. This is where the Battle of the Plains of Abraham took place and the British took over Quebec from the French in the 1750's. The trails here lead down to the Citadel and old Wall in Old Quebec city. Wonderful green space - and make sure you check out the museum at the end of the park!

Huge park right outside the old city - super close, well maintained with lots of areas with different bits and pieces to see and do, plus it's a big historical site which makes it even more interesting. Art galleries, gardens, the nature walk and more make it an easy place to spend a day.

Had a great day walking though this park. It is big so of you plan on walking to the end or will take 2-3 hours and about 7kms. We used the restrooms at the Rotunda in they middle of the park. There are also restrooms at the top of the governers promenade. We went in early autumn and there wasn't any cafe open so bring water and snacks. The views are amazing from the location! You can start your walk from the promenade in front of chateaux frontenac. Oh, and there is a nice nature trail on the east side of the park to walk along back from the south end to the north.

Quiet, peaceful, great for jogging and with great scenery. Beautiful setting where the faith of Canada was decided many years ago. Great for a picnic, great for biking, great overall.

beautiful incredibly well maintained huge national park that lies in the heart of Quebec city the park begins at the fortified Citadel walls and has plenty of seasonal activities interspersed throughout the year, like cross country skiing , oval skating, and a separate hockey rink and 5 day concerts during sumner festival with 50,000 people regularly in attendance with a top band every night from different musuc genres s it's also part of the UNESCO world heritage site. it has a museum on-site, personalized walking tours with national park employees who give a detailed and knowledgeable background history of the battles fought here and the way of life of both soldiers and civilians ....absolute must see for travelers to Quebec City! washrooms on site are immaculate and modern and even has hot water coming from the tap, during winter!!!!

Huge open space that runs along some of the defensive estructures of the old City. It suitable for jogging, hiking, practicing sports and the buildings that house Le Musée des Beaux-arts are spread out its surface

A must-see when visiting Quebec City. The history of this area is well-preserved and interesting to walk around and feel it. This is a working fort with the Garrison still active. If you get a chance, watch the changing of the guards.
