There was a tight deadline once we decided to leave our previous commercial insurance provider to get our policy renewed on time. Plus, this was during COVID-19 so face-to-face meetings were not options. Once I contacted the Co-operators, Kira and her team were able to assess the needs of my business to ensure we had the right protection, and address my concerns around business operations changes due to COVID, via telephone, email, and online. I was impressed with their speed and efficiency.

I applied to this company for insurance and after verifying my location on a map I was asked to take extensive pictures (we're talking every. single. room, appliance, staircase, hallway, rooftop, etc.) and fill out exhaustive forms all of which took hours and hours. After this was done they told me I was ineligible because of my distance from town (the first thing we talked about). For reference, my place is only about 4 kms from town so not too sure what that was about either. Save yourself the time and apply elsewhere.

I was told that I would get $100 reduction but then I checked my receipt and it was the same price as the renewal notice. It also has gone up from $322 in 2019 to $501 in 2023 (I live in one room with a bathroom and this is only rental content insurance! This is a lot more than the maximum cost of living index which is 3.2% and more than the increase of my CPPD income!

I have renewed my car insurance with Co operators on millstream rd in Victoria..The renewal was done as suggested three weeks before the expiry date and as of today still not paperwork or sticker for the license plate..Apparently they are a month plus behind and don't have the staff available to get the paperwork and stickers out in the mail.. they certainly done the paperwork to take out the premiums! I was simply told that I was free to change companies .I have been dealing with this company for 20+ years and have my tenant insurance through them as well.Apparently the woman who does the job only works Fridays for three hours ..This is not acceptable...We have rules for distancing that certainly could be accomplished ! Get some more employees back to work and get the job done!

I called to request home insurance quote for my new home I just bought, the process was acceptable however it required credit check, and eventually the quote was OUTRAGEOUS!!! Just over $5000 per year when l was able to receive several quotes from other insurance brokers from $1500-$2000 per year!
BEWARE! No reason for those crazy pricing!!
