Boulangerie artisanale Epi’Fanny

A gem of a little bakery that wasn't too far from our hotel. We went in for breakfast one day and every single thing we had was so yummy we had to go back before leaving Quebec City! It's one of the few places that open early in the morning and is just perfect to grab and go some pastries or even sit in and eat.

We had the viral New York croissant which was just buttery, caramely goodness. The apple pastry was good too. Their coffees are amazing! The danish and pistachio croissants were perfect. We also grabbed a chicken sandwich which kept us full all morning.

A must visit if you are in the area!

This boulangerie deserves a write up in the travel guide book (but then it will be super crowded the next time I visit Quebec City so I selfishly hope this jewel will stay as a secret). All the pastries I tried during our 5 day stay are great and fresh, not too sweet, and I love the play on words of its shop name-this place is indeed an epiphany!!

Awesome products, we had chocolate croissant, almond croissant, chocolate and pear Danish along with specialty coffees. Each one of them really good. Flaky laminated products with quality ingredients. The service was also exceptional. Most of the staff was bilingual

I was smitten with the beautiful display of freshly baked goods...so many to choose from. Almond, chocolate yum for me and apricot for monsieur! I tried a slightly higher ranked boulangerie in Old Town the following day because of its proximity, but was very sadly disappointed as I tried the same croissant. So, back to Epi' Fanny & a delicious treat every day after!!
It's a small shop, but one can eat in. I did try a Croque Monsieur and it too was delicious.

After a week in town I think this shop makes the best viennoiserie. Their regular croissants are large, fluffy and moist. Just wish they were a bit more crispy on the outside but still better than everything else I tried. Solid Danish. They even make the Supreme (circular, crème-filled croissant from Lafayette Grand Café & Bakery in NYC) , only tried the pistachios and loved it

Got some delicious croissants there. The service was also very good - I dropped my bag of pasty on the ground and the staff helped with a new bag. Thank you!

We enjoyed walking to this shop every morning during our stay in Quebec. Friendly staff and absolutely perfect pastries.

Small sample size but I believe this shop offers the best pastries in Quebec. The croissants are the perfect flaky on the outside but light and fluffy in the middle. They may be the best croissants I've ever had. Skip the lines at some of the more well publicized shops and try this place out.

Great european-like pastries - not TOO sweet, exactly the taste we were going for! Also bread, fine-tasting crumb, not that often for Quebec.

I was losing hope having spent a rainy day in the city and disappointed by the food I encountered. The next day my husband found this place and croissants are simply divine. I haven't had such wonderful pastries outside of Paris anywhere. I highly recommend this patisserie!

Our bakery in Quebec. I came back every morning for fresh baguette and croissants. The lady who works there is very nice and was patient with my not so great French.

This is a great boulangerie. I enjoyed their croissant & chocolatine. I was there at 9:30am on a week day & it seems I just beat the morning rush of people.

Lovely almond croissant and iced caramel latte. Simple and low key place. Simple for a pitstop.

Absolutely delicious sandwiches and bread, and the employees are super friendly. Highly recommend!
