While a lot of these reviews are bad, my experience with this branch was very good. They activated my account without an appointment and they were very friendly. I got my card within 30 mins. I see they were also actively helping other customers. Nice experience as a first time CIBC customer.

The phone customer service representatives are not as helpful as the people in the branch, that's why we need to go in person. I am glad that someone in this branch was able to assist me and my mom to replace her credit card. Shilpa from this branch went above and beyond helped us. I truly understand the standard procedure when it comes to security measures and verification over the phone but if a client is a senior citizen and when communication barrier will be involved, customer service should allow a family member to help. Use soft skills and smart judgment should be in place.
