Hôtel Nomad - Vieux-Québec

I really enjoyed our visit to Quebec City and this gem of a hotel definitely helped! Staff were super helpful (giving multiple directions ….). Location was perfect (be sure to reserve a parking spot) and rooms were adorable, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast in bed was a plus!

We loved our stay at Hotel Nomad. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel that has been thoughtfully designed and styled. The owners made great use of the space in our room and everything appeared carefully curated. We loved the aesthetic, particularly in the lounge, where we enjoyed incredible croissants and great coffee. The location can’t be beat, with river views, a park, and the iconic Hotel Frontenac right out the front door.

We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, and yes, getting to the room involved a narrow staircase and the space was certainly cozy but it was exactly as advertised. Anyone complaining about the size should pay more attention before booking. The room was well designed, had character, and the best part- it had a small private terrace which we accessed through a window! It was quirky and fun and we loved it. If you are a couple in the larger side the double bed might be too small, but was just fine for us. We will 100% be back. Staff were exceptional, service was perfect and the croissants - amazing! We booked parking and breakfast with our room, and I would recommend that.

From the beginning this place was great. The staff were friendly and watched our bags until our room was ready for check in. It’s very cute they’ve done a nice job decorating. Our room was space themed and fun. The location is perfect, everything was close.

The hotel is a small, boutique hotel so there weren’t a lot of extras but we didn’t notice anything lacking. I think the smaller nature meant it was more for adults and that was great for us.

Our room was big, much bigger than the last few hotel rooms I’ve been in. I do wish we’d had one more chair, there was one at the desk, but one for each of us would have been nice.

It was quiet, I heard people in the hall, but that was brief and didn’t wake me up.

Overall I’d stay again and would highly recommend it to anyone I know staying in QC.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Great location within the old town but still peaceful, and views of the river from the front door, and a small park area just outside. Loved our room (Florence A White suite) with gorgeous bathroom and chaise longue to sit and enjoy views of the Chateau and river. Really clean and nicely serviced when required (although also stood by their sustainability standards eg towel replacement only when requested which we were pleased about as we find that isn't always the case in every hotel!) We appreciated having parking on site (although it's a bit tight by some country standards it was fine compared to UK/Europe and our hire car SUV fitted fine). WiFi was a little weak at times but didn't really bother us. Hope to go back one day!

We stayed midweek for 3 nights in August and really liked the hotel. The location is excellent and we walked everywhere with no car needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was super quiet, especially for being in the heart of the city. We had a cute little rooftop balcony, which granted we had to crawl out a window to access but ok, charming! Only thing I'd do differently is spend a little more on a bigger room. Our room was tiny, we knew this when booking, but chose it anyway cause we knew we'd be spending little time in the room. Accessing our 3rd floor room with luggage in a narrow stairwell was a little challenging - it was clearly stated when booking there was no elevator - so if you have mobility issues, call and ask. Biggest upside - probably the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. The room, and especially the bathroom, was immaculate.

We had a fantastic stay here at Hôtel Nomad. We stayed in one of the “Theme” rooms which had character just like the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel felt safe and quiet. We loved how close we were to all the attractions and restaurants.

We would have appreciated a little bar fridge in the room to store drinks and food, other that that we were very satisfied!

We loved this cute boutique hotel. Our room was very cute. The guys at the front desk friendly and helpful and this location is close to everything. And we had a great outdoor space with plants! A great place to relax!

The location can not be beat, rooms are unique and reflective of french heritage with modern twist and very clean. Everyone working here is very friendly and accommodating. Make sure to add a box of macaroons to your room !

A very charming boutique hotel in an ideal location, Hotel Nomad was the perfect location for all of our daily excursions as well as a nice place to return at the end of each day. The staff was kind and helpful, and the continental breakfast was served in their beautiful parlor. It was the perfect espace de repose for our first visit to Quebec City!

We loved our stay. We spent 2 nights here and have no complaints. We opted for the room + parking + breakfast option, definitely recommend this as the parking in Old Quebec is next to none. We expected some noise due to the age of the building but we weren’t disturbed by any noises! Beautiful room with high ceilings and amazing charm, hotel is in a very convenient spot (in the middle of old Quebec and close to restaurants and shops). Amazing staff. All in all, 10/10 stay. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Quebec City.

Romantic getaway with my wife in a beautifully restored Victorian home. Location is excellent, as is the service and staff. Cozy, comfortable and the soap and shower products are exquisite.

This hotel is a gem! Conveniently located in the old city, walkable to everything. Friendly and helpful staff who make sure you have everything you need. Enjoyed a delicious Breakfast served in a bright, sunny room with wonderful details. Our room on the second floor was beautifully decorated and state of the art bathroom. Everything was extremely clean and appreciated the small things like having a Nespresso coffee machine in our room and access to filtered water on our floor. We enjoyed our stay here very much and look forward to our next visit to Quebec City and will most definitely stay here again,

Our family traveled to Quebec City for Christmas of 2022. My wife found this charming hotel situated in old Quebec by the Citadel. The hotel location could not be better, its located near the Frontenac, Petit Champlain and all the great restaurants in old Quebec. The hotel is beautiful inside with tasteful decor and our room was very spacious and modern looking. The breakfast was delicious and hotel service was excellent. We are looking forward to returning to the Hotel Nomad for our return visit to Quebec City.

Perfect location for touring Old Quebec City. Love the breakfast and breakfast room. Friendly staff and rooms are clean and comfortable.

Had a wonderful two night stay in hotel nomad. The hotel owner was super attentive and accommodating. The room has decent French elements. Location is great, minutes walk from the chateau and the highland to oversee the old town.

One reminder: the room door will lock itself if you close, so make sure to take your key with you if you are to fill your water bottle at the entrance. I locked myself out but luckily the owner had a backup key to let myself in.

Great location and although I arrived after hours, instructions were given to me through email and a key was left for me. Really nice rooms and interesting decor throughout.

We had a great stay. The location is very nice and everyone was helpful. I recommend staying here.

One question I had before arriving was about what is included in the breakfast. I have included a photo. If you'd like to have breakfast, you may opt-in the night before ($12 per day/ per person as of this writing). Includes coffee/tea, juice, yogurt and fresh croissants.

A very happy trip ~ the hotel is located very close to the castle and other restaurants we want to visit, just a short walk away. The common area on the ground floor is very beautiful, and through the glass can see the castle high. The staff were very nice and helped us with our luggage and taxi (even if we were not in the hotel, they would help us!) thank you for helping us, I will stay here again next time I come back :) !
