loved their Lego Club activity today!
then we passed by the library, and loved the selection of books and they also have a DVD section, my 9yo son loved that.

it's a great place to hang out and just read :)

For a this small city, we have a great library and museum. Hats off to the funding and the people who run it. The kids events, movie nights and Lego Club are excellent low budget activities for families to get out and do stuff.

We are traveling here in penticton and need to wait to check in to another hotel. The library is a really nice place. Clean, comfortable environment with seats and books and magazines to read. We also checked out the museum. It is very nice. The staff were very welcoming and nice to us. We appreciate a good quiet place to stay with access to books.

I started reading classics when I was very young, and any library is my favorite place. In the library you borrow books or sit and read, you are not shopping or using personal grooming services or buying groceries, so you don't expect the same service as in stores. If more people give donation and we pay for membership, we can expect a newer more up to date design of a building. But since this is a free service from the city, we should be happy we have it. I am an intellectual who is truly interested in reading and learning and not in criticizing architecture. A true intellectual and an avid reader cares about the books and not about decoration or how polite the staff is. So, I am perfectly happy with everything this library has to offer.

Great selection for a smaller library. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Also- the museum is housed in the same building- makes for a fun trip if they have an interesting exhibit on. Thank you!

Wow I did not realize that our library is so busy. The staff there looked happy and Profesional and willing to assist. It was a pleasure. Going there again tomorrow.

Great library- especially for a town of this size. There is a good selection, very friendly and helpful staff who are most accommodating to help you with what you are looking for. I like that there are quite long hours, having wifi throughout and pleasant atmosphere to sit and read magazines. It's also convenient that it's downtown.

Have not had any problems here ever, but could use new carpet and floors, smelt the same since I was a kid. I don't think it's a good thing anymore. The dust mites are gunna ruin the books... :/

Highly recommended. Very well organized with a study area. Using the restrooms here is a nightmare though.

The Penticton Library contains archives within the community museum which is in the same building as the Library. Penticton has quite a bit of interesting history.

Probably in need of an update, as the building is showing it's age (old design), but never-the-less, still a great little library. Online books available as well.
