So at this point this is a weekly visit for us. The food is amazing and service is great - I'm not one for overbearing staff so coming to me when I wave I am totally good with.

What a hidden gem, when you go, get one of their sizzling plates!

Fantastic service, but that's not important. This is the best western style Chinese food I've ever had in my LIFE, and I grew up a fat kid on the prairies. Tender and crispy meat dishes, and everything - EVERYTHING - had amazing flavor. I'm legitimately considering getting them to cater my wedding.

Our go to for Chinese and indo Chinese food. Not just because we live so close by and it's convenient but the food is always spectacular. This family takes a lot of pride in what they do and you can tell the children are invested in making it a success. The paneer pakora is by far one of my favorite dishes and the ginger beef is full of flavor and has an awesome crunchy batter that stays crunchy the whole meal. Theyll have to give me their secret one day. Amazing vibes, amazing food and always great service. Have never been disappointed with anything we've gotten snd will continue to support this local family run business.

Very good authentic Chinese restaurant! Very good value and very health portions! We had the peeking duck which was a 3 course serving for only $35 as well as an orders of chicken and salt & pepper pork chops, which were both steals at $9.99 each. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, well be back!

The food was really good ordered dinner for 2 had enough food to feed 4 people easily. The waiter never left my glass of water half full. When I left I forgot my bag under the table and the waiter returned it to me after following us nearly to 36 street honest run business I will definitely come back in the near future.

Excellent food, excellent experience. Prices seem standard for a Chinese food establishment until you see the portion sizes...then you see what an incredible value this place is. Dinner for one is easily a meal in the restaurant and a meal to take home. Good flavour, well prepared. Restaurant is very well appointed and spacious, super clean. Would recommend to anyone.

Tried out the Buffet on Saturday night (Aug 23 2014 ) Was very impressed with the food and the service we received. The male server was the best and all the staff was very accommodating as to what we would like to have refreshed on the buffet.
Highly recommend that if you have tried in the past and was unhappy ... Please try again as it has changed hands and is now called the Dragon Gate Restaurant... The price is right $15 for the buffet on a weekend and weekdays $13 ... Lunch buffet is $10.00 ... Unbelievable value for Quality food ...

Went here for their $25 buffet for Ramadan and I loved it!! Great family vibes reminiscent of Iftar buffets back home in the Middle East, nice selection of Indo-Chinese food, lovely interior and VERY friendly service! Can't wait to be back :)

We've ordered take out from here before and have enjoyed it so we tried the buffet today and it was hot and delicious! Service was good, and the price was right! Definitely better since the new ownership took over and we are coming back, for sure!

Was looking for an an Asian buffet. Upon walking in the restaurant I was impressed by the cleanliness and the customer service. Great decor and for a lunch buffet at $9.95 this is a strategic choice. Everything I tasted was good and fresh. Their filet of fish is great. I'll be back.

I come there not for the buffet. Because we love Chinese food here . Special bejing duck so cheap so good , 3 meals for under 40$ fire rice duck meat ,soups, BBQ duck with. We came and order a lot single meal because Chinese transitional families eat together. I forgot take pictures of duck this time next time I come will post more

No matter whether you love or hate it, Dragon Gate has it all. My grandmother drove 60 miles just to eat Chow Mein here, that is the only dish she ever ordered for herself. Anyways, I am happy to hear this place still exists and I will be back - for more Chow Mein. This must have been the only Chinese Restaurant in Forest Lawn at the time, perhaps it was called East Gate at one time. No matter - god bless - enjoy this delicious food!

Come here for great food and Amazing service! Had the dinner for 4 and it could easily feed 6 people! The food is very tasty and filling! I will definately be coming back!

Good food😀 And great prices for the buffet boxes to take home... If there is something that you want from the buffet but it's running low they'll make it fresh for you.. Very friendly staff and a clean comfortable environment!!

Have being there on February 14 for lunch and was amazed about the change. The food was very good,the buffet had so much variety I was unable to to try it all. The price to cheap. My rating is fur star. Will visit soon again.
