Au Petit Coin Breton

We went here in October 2022, I know, late for the review, but honestly I couldn't NOT write a review -- We LOVED it. Very kid friendly, no on-site parking (but really, what is...) but easy to find, and HIGHLY recommend. I wish we ate here twice! Huge menu, sweet, savoury, delicious soups, amazing crepes. And great prices!! We were a party of 6 and pleasantly surprised once the bill came. I loved how we could see the great staff making our crepes as we sat. Oh man, I'd go back just to eat here again!

Had supper before catching my train. Gabriel amazing server got my food so fast so I wouldn't be late. Everything perfect! Had real french onion soup and crepes.

This is a cozy little restaurant with amazing food. We are breakfast here and it was so delicious and satisfying! The crepe Marie-Therese was fantastic and the smoked salmon eggs benedict was something I could eat every morning. If you're in old Quebec City, try this place!

First time we had breakfast here in this cozy but warm place.
The waitresses greeted us and sat us at a table.
We ordered a Strawberry with chocolate crepe and I had a Classic with 2 eggs, bacon(huge pile) & 3 sausages & a small crepe. It was delicious even after we found out the Strawberry crepe being a banana one lol...all it came with unlimited coffee, tea or chocolate milk...and that for just $40 bucks..(sausage was extra charge)
It was well worth every penny...so people go enjoy a good breakfast at this cozy restaurant in Old Quebec!!

I have always loved this restaurant, which was around long before I lived in QUEBEC in the '80's. We visited today and had the nicest waitress. The chef whipped up our party's fantastic crêpes so quickly and they were all delicious. Sad to say, the custom of having the waitresses dress in traditional attire ended in 2020, but the little restaurant still had a quaint atmosphere.

We stopped in here for breakfast while touring the area. This restaurant had a quaint homelike quality that really stands out. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was well prepared and delicious. There were people lined up here waiting to get in. Definitely worth stopping in here. There is a parking garage near here. I am not sure about the street parking. Enjoy!!!

Great crepes! Large and delicious, I got the one with spinach, brie and eggs and it had a generous amount of cheese. My husband got the cheese, eggs and bacon, he said it had a generous serving of bacon! Definitely recommend it! Plus, the hot chocolate was the best we tried in Quebec City!

Food 5/5 I highly recommend the crepes especially le Roger! It comes with a free cafe or chocoat chaud

We went here for breakfast after making the mistake of trying to get breakfast from our hotel the prior morning, which took a ridiculously long time. At this restaurant we were greeted and seated promptly and provided with our beverages in a timely manner. This place is spot cozy with interesting decor and a window to the kitchen where you can see the crepes being made. Our meals were delicious and the service friendly and very attentive!

Very nice experience for crepes in Of Quebec. They have a diverse menu for breakfast, lunch or dinner, options for sweet or savory tooth. I had the strawberry crepe with whipped yogurt and my husband the full breakfast with many samples of traditional Quebec items.

Service was very kind and quick. I really recommend it.

Awesome place to have breakfast! Food was great and I highly recommended a coffee and crepes! My family loved their food, great service and food came out quick and hot! If you’re looking for a great place for breakfast/brunch I would absolutely give this 5 stars all around!

We had the Western and Blueberry Crepes and they were the best French crepes in the city. Staff was very friendly and it felt like a family owned restaurant.

My girlfriend and I were veeery hyped to go here, because we’re both huge crepe fans. I can thankfully say it didn’t let us down. Though the first day we tried to visit, the line was so long that we chose to go the next morning. It’s a very popular location it seems!

We had a super nice waitress seat and serve us, which made the experience even better. The food arrived VERY fast (my soup came in ~5 mins), and wasn’t as pricey as some of the other restaurants on the same street. Back to the soup though - oh MAN. That was like, the best onion soup ever. Seriously. I would’ve bought two bowls of it if I had known it would be so good. I also ordered a small, sweet pear crepe and it was also delicious! But the soup was heavenly.

My girlfriend got a savoury buckwheat shrimp crepe, which she said was lovely though a bit lacking in “glue”; the crepe fell apart very easily as it did not contain cheese/any sort of “goop”. Still, she said it tasted delicious. She also got their house lemonade - which I sipped - and it was GREAT. It’s filled with pieces of fruit. Honestly, I liked it more than my fancy chocolate coffee!

Finally, the restaurant has a 20% off dinner entrees discount if you’re a HI Canada member. I showed them my card and the website, and we got our discount. So if you’re staying at a HI hostel (like the one down the street), I definitely recommend coming here! Though even without the discount, I’d still come back. The food was fantastic and relatively affordable.

We were seated quickly. The staff was really sweet. The food was really good. Must try crepe and french toast. Happy to come back whenever next in the city.

I had Le Fernando and a hot chocolate! Both were great on a cold winter’s morning. There’s a bottle of maple syrup on the table if you want to sweeten it. The staff were super friendly.
