Les Passionnés

We stayed in two of the rooms in this inn during our time riding the Petit Train du Nord bikeway. The location is right off the bike path and about 2 minutes via bike from the Val-David main street. It sits directly on the river and the views and sound of rushing water are beautiful and relaxing. The accommodations were excellent - very nice, updated bathrooms, well appointed and comfortable beds and AC units for the summertime. There is also a shared "kitchen" area with dishes, utensils, tea and coffee and a microwave. Finally, the bike and luggage storage closet were convenient and easy to lock and secure. We were there early in the week and the restaurant was not open but that was not a problem as there were several restaurants including a local micro-brewery nearby. We loved our stay at Les Passionnes in Val-David and highly recommend it to others traveling through.

This place is a must-stay and must-eat in Val-David! A little slice of Laurentide heaven - the beds are comfortable, the rooms nice and quiet, big bright bathrooms, amazing breakfast included in the rate. The owner and his staff (family?) are so welcoming and wonderful. Our only regret is not having booked a reservation for dinner! Next time.

This was a fantastic place to stay on my bike ride of the Petit Train du Nord. It's on a beautiful little river with chairs for relaxing among flowers. Even though I was the only guest that night, Chef Nicolas took great care of me. The dinner and breakfast were creative and delicious. The room was attractive, modern, and perfectly clean. I'd love to come back with friends!

A real gem of a place. Top notch food and very personable chef. We had the menu a Midi, which get regularly updated, for $28. The quality easily matches and even surpasses many big name table in Mtl. Great presentation and value.

We stayed there for the long weekend with our 11 1/2 month daughter and as we all parents know is not easy with a little ones, but the chef was very patient and attentive and accommodate our daughters culinary needs, AMAZING service and well balanced and garnished dishes chef!!!
Oh! And the rooms very welcoming, clean and fresh.

Awesome! Service was very good and food was exceptional only thing is you have to allow a good 3 hours to get thru the whole experience but all and all great choice got a romantic night in. Grounds by the river are beautiful make sure to walk around before seating.

Beautiful location by the river and right off trail of le petit tran du nord. Restaurants and shops in walking distance. Great breakfast. Informative staff. Their restaurant was closed, but made other suggestions.

It's simply paradise on earth, in Val-David! Very cozy warm & peaceful, an experience in itself! You won't be disappointed! After 3 years, it is still standing strong!

I am not sure if this is open for public. I was an Airbnb guest there and got the breakfast as part of it. The place is properly renovated and very cleanly prepared food.

Very nice rooms and extraordinary food

Ambiance chaleureuse, intime et amicale. Nous adorons les menus dégustations. Nous y sommes allé sans aucune attente et complètement à l'aveugle avec accord des vins. Nous n'avons pas été déçu. Plats généreux, bien accompagnés et bien présentés. Le chef était aussi le serveur ce soir là. Belle complicité et très généreux de son temps et de ses commentaires. Très belle place à découvrir et redécouvrir. Merci au chef Jean-Philippe Cournoyer.

Excellent petit gîte et resto dans le charmant village de Val-David. Tenu par deux jeunes hommes très sympas. Notre chambre avec vue sur la rivière était impeccablement propre, lit king super confo, salle de bain avec porte coulissante. Déco rustique moderne très bien réussie. Déjeuner fantastique. Pain doré croustillant avec petits bleuets, noix et mousse à la canelle.
Nous y avons souper le soir. Menu simple : choix de trois options en entrée, en plat principal et au dessert, ou table d'hôte cinq services. Nous avons choisi un plat de morue avec riz et un de boeuf avec champignons croustillants. C'était succulent. Sauces gouteuses. Présentation excellente. Service impec. On aime bien manger et on a été extrêmement bien servis ici. A recommander !

Endroit magnifique et reposant.
Les proprios sont hyper accueillants et le chef Jean-Philippe nous a agréablement surpris avec son menu dégustation. Digne des grandes tables de Montreal.
Carte des vins avec de superbes vins natures que Vincent nous a choisi pour accompagner les plats.
À revenir et à recommander.
