Café Maison du Peuple

We say for a beer or more. It had a cozy atmosphere, nice vibes and not that loud music. It was easier to talk with our group. Belgian beers are always great! 🤩

What a great, authentic place this is. While budy the barmaid took the time to let me try some beers. Great beers, laid back, authentic, some dishes look like from magazines :)

Large and busy bar. Younger side of the generations, children and some babies, seem to be the clientele. Good range of beers, efficient service. Not too noisy despite being busy.

We always feel at home at Maison du Pop.
The frozen coffee is top. The rest of food and drink is nice and properly priced. The service is always kind: we come with a huge stroller and two toddlers, and we never feel out of place.

Great place for a quick bite for lunch. Would recommend the Croque Monsieur! On Sunday it seems to be very popular for families so expect lots of little kids running round your table. The waiters manage it with a smile on their faces. Definitely family friendly!

One of my favorite places for a drink with friends. Decent selection of cocktails and beers. Has a nice terrace during summer, even more so since the plaza is car-free.

One of my preferred place where I work in the morning. Kind of classic brasserie. I love the atmosphere in the morning. You get different customers at different hours of the day. Great for meeting friends in the afternoon and on evenings as well

Favorite cafe in St-Gilles. Good croque monsieurs and antipasti. Love the atmosphere. You don't have to be a certain way to fit in. Everybody is welcome here. You can reserve tables inside. Beautiful terrace. Friendly service at the bar. Brunch is also a good one, only in weekends.

Maison du peuple is a Saint Gilles institution. Interesting drinks and varied entertainment ensure that something is always happening. For craft beer fans, there are always a few new ones on offer. House wine and cocktails aren't too bad either. Great decor and aesthetic. Great place for groups and sunny days are well spent on the parvis outside with its ample seating. And if it's important to you... There's free WiFi too.

I went back yesterday to have dinner, it was delicious!!!
