I needed access to a computer and I thought this might be an issue as I'm not a local. 50c for 1hr and everything was sorted. Staff were very helpful and it seemed like a great place to study - very peaceful. Didn't expect to need to visit a library while in Brussels for the weekend but I'm glad I did!

Love this public library. Not only you can access many Dutch books but it also has an excellent selection of English titles. Other languages like Spanish, German, and Italian are also available.

Modern and well kept library in the heart of the city.

Very relaxing Staff and food are excellent. They don’t push the”tourist food” just good food. Not overrun with tourists which is a great bonus ❤

Great library that has a large amount of quiet study space. Online booking study seats is easy.

Note that you need to pay for wifi with a 5euro annual membership, but only Belgian citizens/residents (maybe EU citizens too) are eligible for it. Other tourists can pay for a day pass to use wifi at 2euro/day.

Other notes:
- wish this library was open for longer hours
- is there a water fountain to fill water bottle??
- wish the bathroom was free 😑 but it costs 0.50euro

Mostly Dutch books, but a updated and sizeable collection of English, Spanish, French, Italian and German books.
Many quiet places to study and play.

Great place to have a calm moment and read in the hectic downtown, a lot of books in English also !

We love visiting this library, especially kids they always ask to go spend time there.

Great place, staffs are very welcoming and helped me to resolve my queries regarding membership.
Catalogue is quite comprehensive and consists good nunber of english books and dvds.
Located nicely at the heart of Brussels .

The library is perfect for reading and studying, it has books, movies and games.
You can book a place and come study without subscription on bookaplace.be, and even the subscription is 10€/ year for adults , isn’t this perfect??

This is not just a library. I is just a great place to wander around, in the heart of Brussels. A great dvd and cd collection for free, and of course books, books and books. And even a game zone in the young adult corner and lots of art and artbooks.

Great large library lots of activity for kids, very easy accessible via bus, metro and tram in center of Bruxelles.
