Fika

"Fika" is the Swedish word for the concept of taking a break while drinking coffee accompanied with a sweet treat and/ or a good chat.
I think it is the perfect name for this café. It is a little hidden gem, the kind of coffee place I would like to see more in Brussels. .
They focus on good, fresh coffee and homemade (delicious) baked goods. You go there to enjoy your cup and a snack in a calming and lovely atmosphere. Especially if the weather is nice, you can sit in the backyard as if you were in your own garden.

staff is so lovely, plus they really know their coffee stuff. excellent cappucino & cinnamon buns (super soft, not too sweet). small and cosy cafe, unfortunately therefor its very hard to find a seated spot but they do their best

Semla. Get it here! The best place for premium quality coffee and finest desserts. Cosy place to enjoy your daily coffee and to please your sweet tooth. When warmer and sunny, enjoy it all in the fine garden with a view to the lical church. Get here, you will not regret it!

The backyard seats highly recommended! A peaceful oasis with yummi cinnamon buns.

The coffee was spectacular! I had a wonderful cappuccino and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was also great. The service was super friendly and quick. This is the best coffee I have had in Belgium! I will be back for sure. It would be nice to have a little better furniture in the garden but still 5 stars for sure.

Cutest little café. Seating inside is very limited and it is usually crowded. They serve one of the best hot chocolates in town.

Cutest coffee shop!! & gluten free options were sooo yummy. Only downside is that there wasn’t a lot of seating but we got lucky

Delicious coffee, tried almost all of the kinds they have and loved them all! Everything is beautifully presented, staff is super nice, speaks English, and they also have baked goods to go with coffee. Will definitely be coming back!

Simple and cozy coffee shop. All baked goodies are great, but if you must choose, do go for a delicious cookie. One the best one in town... (sign AKA "Cookie Monster")

Addicted to their brioche and coffee (which is possibly the best in Brussels). I love their garden, a little oasis in the neighborhood and perfect for a sunny morning!
