We came here a couple of times and really enjoyed ourselves both times. We only stopped in for drinks but found them to be really enjoyable.
They have a wide selection of beers to choose from, the leffe tasting flight is a nice one to try.
They have a good selection of wines to choose from, my partner said she really enjoyed the picpoul.
The prices are a little higher than elsewhere but given the location on the grand place, it's to be e expected.
The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, and made a fuss of our girls which they loved! The girls enjoyed making up their hot chocolates with the little chocolate drops and hot milk.
The building has a nice feel to the inside and was busy so had a nice atmosphere inside. It was nice and warm with the big fire in the middle of the room too.
It's worth noting that the toilets are upstairs on the second floor.
Would recommend coming here for a few drinks and to have a laugh with the staff!

Step into the ambience of a well managed and friendly restaurant off the heart of the Grand Place. Take time to slow down and enjoy the fireplace, and vibrant U.S. western meets Brussels vibe.

The team here was wonderful. While you pause remember to glance out the window and take it all in.

The onion soup is fabulous.

I really liked the place, the food and Lucas service. The price was also adequate, order deliveries were quick, the music in the atmosphere was good, as was the temperature. I had a good experience.

Very wonderful service, friendly staff. Terrific food and beverage, beers a plenty under the terrace filled with green and red umbrellas. The atmosphere is terrific and probably the only decent eatery I'm all of Brussels. Tap water is a no no, forbidden as standard across Belgium. However these guy have much to choose from, even vegan friendly!

Our waiter was this older gentleman who gave us great service and was very patient with us despite my essentially non-existent French. We communicated just fine. You sir, are a true gentleman and a legend. Best wishes from New Zealand and thank you for the memories. Merci beaucoup!

We were at the right place at the right time after some serious photo taking session, a very cozy ambience and the food is awesome (for both kids and adults) especially when we were totally clueless of what to order. Mika took care of the group orders like a pro (thanks so much) and hint - best spot to snug for a great view and a hot chocolate /beer is at the top level by the window. Go try it

The service was a little slow but it was very busy so fair enough. The food is good, portions are big. It's quite simple stuff but well done. Extensive beer menu and very helpful and friendly staff. Good option for such a centrally located place.

My husband and I were there once and food was perfect, so next time we went there again and this time with our friends. We tried 4 cheese pasta, ham pasta, burger and spaghetti. All of them were delicious 🤤. Also price is affordable.

Good place to stop if you are in the main square, although it is expensive ... the location explains it by itself.

The food is very simple, but do what the locals do, go in and say that you will only drink beer, after that just enjoy the atmosphere, in general the waiters are very attentive and they will always recommend something to you. Go for the beer sampler.

Lovely atmosphere, the staff greeting you on arrival were fantastic, someone brought a horse in here but in all fairness it was well behaved and didn’t cause any bother whatsoever, we didn’t eat as we were sampling the splendid array off beers, which I have to say were top notch.

The only downside was the gents toilet door was wedged open which meant you’re manhood was on display to the entire restaurant, fortunately I have plenty in that department so I wasn’t bothered whatsoever.

Went once because of the great view to the Plaza and today I repeated, a very good experience.

great beer, a little slow service at first but it was great and staff was very friendly, the mussels were amazing and very clean. overall they were great. and ofcourse the view is amazing

The decor of this place is the perfect amount of cheesy to be charming. The service was wonderful and we loved the drinks as well. The kwaka is extremely strong, so be careful ordering it! I got the vol au vent, a traditional Belgian dish, and my girlfriend got the mignon of lamb. Both were extremely delicious.

The bathroom was upstairs, which isn't the most accessible. My boyfriend showed me that the urinals were really weird because they have large images on people looking down at you. The women's bathrooms were totally normal though.

The manager also saw us looking at the huge horse and proudly told us that it was owned by royalty. The location is unbeatable and service was so fast. They have menus in English and French too. I would definitely come back again!

Wen I was here in 2006 it was the best meal of my entire trip. The beer flights are amazing. Food was piping hot and delicious. The decor is rustic as it should be. This is one of if not the oldest standing restaurant in the area. Heading back to Europe in August of this year and will definitely be trying this out again. I hope it’s just as good as last time if not better!!!

Went here for a business dinner and drinks, very nice place, great view of the grand place , all sort of bears and good food. I haad italian beef tartare, was good, and then waffle with chantilly and strawberries, i liked it!

The staff were really friendly and nice. And the food was delicious as well.

From the moment we stepped in the front door, we were warmly welcomed! Fun atmosphere, good food, great drinks and an amazing view.

Meal with view. Quite touristy but that is a purpose of being a tourist. Worth a money. Foods are good too.

Phenomenal Belgian beer selection, incredibly tasty appetizers and entrées, friendly and efficient service provided by the staff. Definitely recommend trying this excellent historic restaurant in the center of Grande Placè

Great location in the middle of Grand Palace. I really enjoy the service with excellent staff welcoming us with awesome hospitality. Must try the pasta with sea food 🤩
