I added this stall on Google Maps before it opened its door. Another reviewer somehow added another entry at a completely incorrect location within the shopping centre..

After my 2nd review, I informed Google Maps of duplicate entry. In fact, I updated the name by adding Waverley Gardens to it, as there are stalls of the same name in different suburbs.

Google Maps deleted my entry instead of the "Johnny comes lately". How unfortunate!

Today I taste test the food at Fathima's. The food display is good, and very eye appealing.

The staff are very friendly.

My wife and I tried a Como, with Butter Chicken and Beef Vindaloo. The gravies for both are very flavoursome. It is time to have a "restaurant" in the area serving some decent Indian food.

I pass on my compliment to the staff, and later the chef comes out to have a brief chat with us. He recommends we try one of the menu item which he claims to be his own authentic recipe.

After today's visit, I change my ranking to 5 stars instead of 4.

Keep it up. I'll back, unannounced.

This is a new store in Waverley Gardens. There are several Fathima's Kitchens in many suburbs.

I am reviewing this in accordance to what I see in terms of the shop characteristics, grocery and cooked food display and kitchen.

What catch my eyes are tables set outside the shop, blocking part of the walkway. There are several customers enjoying the food prepared from the "kitchen".

The aromas draws me into the shop. I request permission from the gentleman at the counter to take some photos for my review on Google Maps. He hesitates briefly, but says yes for my request.

The shop is bright, tidy and clean. Not all shelves are not fully stocked.

Near the front entrance are bain marie of normal and regular Indian food, They smell good, very attempting, but I am just have my lunch and have to give it a miss until some other time.

We recently had the pleasure of utilizing your catering services for our clients, and we are delighted to inform you that it was a resounding success.
The food was a perfectly balanced blend of spices and flavours, catering to the diverse tastes of our clientele.
As a result of the overwhelmingly positive response, we have decided to place another, larger order with your establishment today. Your restaurant is personally my favourite dining destination, both for business and personal outings with family, friends, and coworkers.

Food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The menu had a variety of options, and everything I tried was tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive, making it an enjoyable meal. I would strongly recommend for perfect dine in.

Absolutely amazing authentic Indian cuisine. And the service is phenomenal. Highly recommended.

We organized some catering through Fathima's in the 1st week of Dec for a get-together at home. We ordered Chicken Biryani, Gobi manchurian, chicken malai kebabs and seekh kebabs in addition to cooking some food at home. All the catered items were so delicious that hardly anyone touched any of the home cooking. The quantity was generous, biryani had enough chicken pieces and malai kebabs were finger licking good! Highly recommend this place for some authentic Indian cuisine.

I adore this place and feel so lucky to have such a great restaurant within walking distance. I eat here regularly and never feel let down. The staff are friendly and helpful especially when it comes to advice on trying new dishes and branching out, but where it really counts is the food.

They seem to have a fairly decent range of the standard Indian classics as well as some lesser well known dishes (to my knowledge). Spice levels might be a tad on the milder side for those who like it hot, so if you are after a scorching Vindaloo or something you may wish to order it extra hot.

I'm a big fan of the Lamb Malabari, Baingan Gosht w/Paneer, Sweet & Sour Paneer and Dahl Tadka in particular, but honestly I don't think I've tried anything on the menu that hasn't been delicious. And of course, I can't walk past their Garlic Naan. No really, I dare you to walk past it, it's just too good.

Don't be fooled by the fact it's housed inside the Waverly Garden's shopping center, the quality is still there at least as far as the food and staff are concerned. If you're after a more refined or romantic experience then you may find the shopping center style seating not to your tastes. For someone like me, however, who prefers to take mine home to eat, it's the perfect local restaurant.

Delicious Biryani menu, with really generous portions that is very worth the value. Butter chicken was really nice.

I absolutely love this takeaway and dine-in place! The menu is so authentic, pure, and delicious - it's beyond earthly! And the staff is incredibly warm and friendly.

Best place at Waverley Gardens for Indian dishes. Ordered some food for the weekend everything was absolutely delicious. The chicken curry, birayani, nans and saffron rice which my family enjoyed. Excellent service the food was all packed and ready for us to pick up. Thank you to the wonderful team. Will definitely visit again.

Wow - the best butter chicken and eggplant curry I have ever had! Reasonably priced, clean and very friendly staff. What a local gem! Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Keep up the amazing food and service!

The Best India Kitchen I have been to in a long time. There butter chicken is my go to because it is made properly. Authentic and with love. There pricing is very good. Low Price for Excellent Food. Everything about it is Great. 10 out of 10

Loving this Indian food at Waverley Gardens, our favourite is the butter chicken.
We sometimes want it for dinner so I buy a container of the sauce and slow cook my butter chicken at home, it's the best sauce, just need to add cream and a bit of water because it comes concentrated.
It's our Indian food go to 10/10.

Wow! Best Indian food I've had in Victoria!
If you had this food in a swanky restaurant in the city you would not be dissapointed!! Definitely have the butter chicken because that's a stand out. The Korma is also AMAZING! Eat it all up with some yummy garlic nan. Highly recommend.
Ps if the chef ever offers cooking classes then sign me up!!!!! I would pay the big bucks to learn to cook like that for friends and family.

A nice addition to Waverly gardens!
Have been in a couple of time to get take away, but this time went on to ask if the had butter sauce to make the dish myself at home, which they sold out of.
Instead the nice gentleman offered to sell us a portion of their own sauce that they make in the kitchen, right there on premises.
I agreed and he went to get a container full for me. On return he came out of the kitchen with whom I think is the chef and he explained how to prepare the dish at home. The result and taste was delicious!

Great Service. Portion size well exceeds the price range. The Vindaloo Beef is always Amazing 👏 Everytime I eat here it never fails to disappoint.

Authentic Indian food. Exceptional quality and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Ordered the paneer butter masala, lemon coconut rice, samosas, garlic naan and mango laasi. Super tasty- well seasoned and the samosa were some of the best I’ve had. All the food arrived well packaged and still hot too!
