Astee Asian Supermarket Waverley Gardens

There aren't many Asian super markets around here. This place is unique because it sells a wide variety of products, and I use market often.

It's bothersome to go to Springvale KFL or Hongkong Market in Clayton every time.

Here, there is a wide variety of products, and in front of the store, there are fresh vegetables, and a small butcher shop, especially a lot of Korean food, which I frequently use.

One thing I would like to point out is that the service doesn't seem very good. You can't even see who is at the cashier because the screen covers their face, so they don't even greet you, which makes the service quite poor.

It feels like this place is too selfish, not even greeting regulars whom they often see. It needs improve interior quality as they are high demand!

I love browsing all the options here. Not too many well stocked Asian supermarkets in my area so I find myself buying more than planned when I visit Astee. Especially love their tea/hot drink section as well as frozen items. Also noticed there was a good range of DIY dessert (tapioca, jelly etc) & bubble tea here too if you're into that.

Large variety of Asian food stuff including drinks, snacks, Asian spices, noodles etc. Nice, clean and spacious. They also have a Chinese butcher inside the shop. Prices are so, so. Not as cheap as Springvale but not that expensive either. They accept CC which is quite convenient. I would recommend this place if you live nearby.

Me an my son love this place. Started going for the great prices on veggies out the front, to now it's a weekly treat to buy new and exciting Asian drunks and lollies.

Such a big variety of things. They have a massive selection of fresh produce, other delicious asian foods and lots of snacks and drinks. I really love this shop.

What a place to shop. Frozen custard buns, tapioca pearls for bubble tea. So many items available which you can't find in other Asian stores
