A huge range of products from lovely homeware, plants and gardening equipment, tools, pest control, outdoor and camping equipment, even things for your pets. Charlie's Cafe has great coffee and food. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Always friendly, helpful staff and excellent variety of goods. I always love to check out their range of creative and innovative products which make ideal gifts with individual style. Have always loved how this local business gives back and supports local community ventures. Have spent many a weekend here doing carwashes and sausage sizzles long before Bunnings...

Such a well planned shop. Everything is easy to find, and if not, there are always helpful staff. The plants section is awesome..you can spend so much time looking for something really special to plant out and enjoy. After spending ages going through plants, furniture, barbeques and tools, then treat yourself to a drink and food at Charlies Cafe in the Centre. Always a well earned stop to indulge yourself. So much more than just a hardware.

A weekly Saturday visit. Food is good as is service and you can have a look around after. Easy parking

Love the new look and uniforms. Great range of products and the staff are so helpful and caring. I feel Porters is a true reflection of our town and proudly represents Mackay. Definitely a place to visit and a great place to catch up with friends and family too. The Coffee shop is also a must do.

Loved the variety of stock and white goods. plus they have a excellent cafe to snack in.

Spoke to Denise on the phone regarding outdoor chairs. She couldn't possibly have been of more help. Definitely has great customer skills. Such an asset to porters!

Having Breakfast with our beautiful friends visiting from Cairns.

I have been on a search for a dischidia major and through a group on facebook I was informed that they were selling them at this store. So I contacted the store and was greeted by Jenny who passed me to Judy and then to Lyn. I had Lyn to put the plant aside and my daughter and her boyfriend were to pick it up on their way through.
My daughter and boyfriend state your friendly manner and service was exceptional.
Thank you ladies in assisting me to cross this plant off my wish list.

We found an item not carried by Bunnings and had a reasonably priced breakfast as well.

The staff are always so helpful and pleasant. Can usually always get what I need and very compedative with other shops. The Cafe is a bonus and always good food

Absolutely amazing!😁🤗😎👍👌 The newly transformed store of 'Porters MITRE 10'in Mackay Qld Aus🇦🇺🌴🐨. We went there to look at some applicationd for our bathroom that we decided to renovate this year. I've been to old' Porters some time ago, before the changes. A lovely place with all that you might need to beautify your home🏠, but a little bit too expensive on my pocket. This time though we decided to give it a 'go', and purchase at 'Porters Mitre 10' all that is needed for our new bathroom!🤗 For us ☺😉👴👵the quality that counts, my word! During our visit there, we've done what we came to do with a lovely lady Jen*. We're waiting for a quote from her now for our new batroom appliances.
After, we went browsing through the store and I took some amazing photos. Also, we had a lovely lunch there at 'Charlie's Cafe' with a beaut.😄 coffee☕ and a coconut cake. Inclosing some pics taken during our visit at 'Porters Mitre 10' on Mon.04.06.2018😄😎😍

I have not made it to mitre 10 before they were very helpful when l was getting paint fir my home I found a heap of Christmas ideas too

Wonderful!😊😉Fantastic 😎after all renos and changes that has been done to 'old' "Porters -Mitro 10" now, it took our breaths away walking around, admiring all stuff for sale on displays, hey!😊😄😎 etc. The problem only is that... nowdays, you need buckets loads of money 💰💰and a good paid job😉 to afford shopping at 'Porters Mitro 10'. We also visited 'Charlie's Cafe' and had a yummy lunch, coffee ☕☕ and desserts 🍰🍰. All services at 'Porters Mitro10' were great. We've totally enjoyed our day there😊😎👍👌👏 Inclosing some lovely photos.
