UPDATE: Japgy have moved next door into a much bigger 'supermarket' space - 3 weeks later and they are still filling it up!

A little concerned they might have bitten-off more than they can chew! They will need to manage their fresh range carefully, or they will end up with significant waste.

Place feels cavernous and cold - they need to add atmosphere - Bollywood music, sitar etc make it a fun experience.

Wow, what an Indian oasis!

They literally have everything, including Blackstone Flower, which is essential for authentic Chettinad chicken - but very hard to find. Well laid out and easy to navigate. Bulk spices about 1/3 supermarket prices.

Young guy working there was so helpful and polite - hearing us juggling items, he even brought us a trolley - without even asking (great service).

We live on the GC, but this will now become a regular.

Love this place. The staff are friendly and helpful. Plus if they can will order in requested foods.

Great selection of Indian, Asian and some nz groceries. Fresh produce and fresh Indian deserts. Will be definitely doing my bulk buying here now on

I often go to JAPGY supermarket for grocery shopping as I live locally. I find the store well organised with full suite of product range and the visual presentation and cleanliness of the store is also quite appealing. Furthermore, the staff there including the owner are extremely friendly and helpful as I have often reached out to them on multiple occasions to seek assistance and they have all been extremely cooperative. Keep up the good work!

Scrumptious food items, just mouth watering. Really good, taste great, reasonable prices, friendly staff with effective communication, highly recommended this place for getting Indian cuisines.👍

Your Naan size is so good pls keep it as it is. Also the Malai Kofta i order the other day was actually so perfect, even though Malai kofta mean to be sweet but as I requested bit spicy, you did a great job in that.... Keep up the good job Guys
