Great shop with heaps of variety. I miss not having a local hobby store as they have all shut up in Canberra. It great to be able to go in to a shop with knowledgeable staff and ask them questions. To be able to see and touch what is new. Something that you can’t do on the internet. Keep supporting your local hobby store because believe me you will miss it when it is gone.

This has to be one of the finest hobby stores I've been to. They have a great range of paints tools and models. Their strong suit if you're into radio control planes this is your headquarters

These guys have a genuine passion for what they sell, know a lot and can trouble shoot any problem we've had. Always takes the time to ensure we have what we need without feeling rushed and actively encourages conversation.

Great little store, has all the budding or experienced enthusiast may need from nitro, brushless electric, drones and modelling kits! Awesomely helpful staff too! Very impressed!

Much cheaper than warhammer... they guy was extremely helpful picking out the colours for my miniatures...

Fantastic service, Budget Hobbies has been my go-to hobby shop for RC for over twenty years.

Awesome guys with great customer service. Bought an RC boat for a bit of fun. It had a fault that shut down the engine after its first 5m of movement. They trouble shooted, tested all its parts to no avail so gave me a new one. Great experience.

Chris had a winch servo in stock that suited my DF 95 RC sailing boat , and took pity on my big fingers, and fitted it for me, great service, the team thinks outside the box, service like this is rare these days, thanks heaps guys

Went in looking for FPV goggles for my racing quad, a battery and some washers. I came out with everything I needed. The staff knew what I needed and suggested products for me. They even went to the extent of getting some items out of the boxes so I could have a good look. Budget Hobbies is a great store with very helpful staff. I will definitely be going back.

Purchased a hard to find/constantly out of stock item both in Australia and overseas.
Price was near $100 cheaper than if I imported it which given the AUS dollar and prohibitive shipping costs is no mean feat.
Shipped quickly and received in just a day or two in another state.
That's how you get repeat business!

I use to go here over 10 years ago Have takin the hobby up again so I decided to visit and buy a new plane , I was happy with the customer support and help given bye Chris and his offsider there so I decided only fair give them a good review Small shop but totally packed to the rafters with goodies at a budget friendly price !

Chatty staff/owner willing to help. Good range of RC and traditional models. Prices are fair for a small owner operated shop in the suburbs. Rather pay a couple of percent more here and support local that save two bucks buying online
