The Good Guys Capalaba

We are regular shoppers at good guys at Capalaba Store. And one of the main reasons we return to the store is a customer service. It is unbelievable. We were having issues with fridges breaking down. Your store manager, Madeline Is a very good example of a business being run right. Customer service is impeccable. Whatever Madeline is being paid Would never be enough. We have never experienced customer service before so we will always be a return customer.
This store definitely has a great team of workers, friendly and conscientious in every way. If I could give it six stars I would.

After going to a major competitor store in the city that was not helpful and not much on display we went to the good guys Capalaba where Anne-Marie helped us straight away, had great advice and we could order and see everything we needed.

The only Goodguys store we go to nowadays. We're closer to another store but the extra 10 min drive is not much compared to the time wasted waiting to be served in another local TGG store where the staff are grumpy all the time.
Most staff ive come across @ the Capalaba store are generally friendly and upbeat about helping customers. I haven't seen any customer not being attended to.
Recent purchase was a fridge. Sue was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent communication skills and was on point with her customer service.

Great service here, and a good range of products.
We were greeted at the door by the wonderfully helpful and friendly Sharon. She was able to quickly look up the product we were looking for and advised it was in stock, but not on display. A few taps on her key pad and the sale was complete!
Peter carried the item to our car and we were all done in about 10 mins.
Everytime we have been here, we have left as happy customers.

I feel compelled to write of my 5 start customer service experience in store yesterday. I was working from home yesterday due to a time critical project I am delivering across this weekend. Unbelievably, a glass of water ended up in my HP Spectre laptop. I did my best to dry the unit and engaged with multiple parties to troubleshoot next steps while googling stock levels at my go to store, The Good Guys Capalaba, for my preferred unit. It was indicated the laptop I was after was out of stock, however I headed in store in a state of panic and near desperation. I came across Jordan who dropped everything to listen to my story and immediately sprang into action. He checked and confirmed an outcome and in the space of 5 minutes I had a solution and was at the checkout counter. Door to door I was setting up my new laptop in less than 30 mins - including travel time - and my project was not at all impacted in terms of delivery.

Jordan went well above and well beyond and words cannot describe my gratitude. I hope the leadership/management team see this and take the time to interact with Jordan directly and my hope is his effort is acknowledged. Customer service like this is rare and while this event was well and truly exceptional it is indicative of my recurring experience shopping at this store.

I bought a fridge, microwave and kettle and only came in with dimensions for the space requirements in my kitchen. We went to purchase a new Smart TV at Capalaba. A big purchase for us as we still had our 18 year old 50” Panasonic. Huge changes since we purchased that.
Linus listed to what I had researched and thought we needed. He was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful and guided us through options and gave excellent advice. At no time did we feel pressured to buy a TV larger or more expensive than what we needed. Then he introduced us to the in store Telstra person, Andrew ? Who helped us immensely sorting out our Telstra phone accounts. Seamless plan for delivery and on wall installation and constant text updates on that.

Purchased a Technika double oven.
Arrived damaged yesterday.
Sent back.
Sue and Kirk moved mountains to get another unit from another store.
Installed today by a very polite installer Ryan.

We bought all our large kitchen appliances for our new kitchen from here. They stock a comprehensive range at great prices and the service was very professional and friendly. Bert, the store manager was a pleasure to deal with along with Kirk. Very highly recommended.

Online purchase. Couldn't find the freezer on the Black Friday special at my local GG's so contacted GG's Capalaba. Kath was fantastic in helping me purchase the freezer and organised next day delivery.
We didn't get the usual text in the evening to let us know what time the delivery would be but we got a call at 8am the next day to advise us of the delivery time. Delivery guys were very professional and answered all my questions. Very grateful not to have to lift the freezer all the way up a flight of stairs.
The purchase was smooth and without any problems.

I purchased a Samsung ax90 air purifier yesterday. I am very happy with the product. On of the best air purifiers you can buy. Not cheap at $999.

However, I looked up the Samsung website this morning looking to buy some spare filters.

Discovered Samsung has this item on sale for $699 including free delivery.

I went back to the Good Guys and they were very helpful and were happy to price match and refund me $300.

A large electrical appliance retailer. They sell a vast range of kitchenware, TV & audio & home appliances. I have shopped there many times over the years and have always found their pricing to be keen. Not always the lowest (like every other store, you have to shop around) but I've enjoyed the friendliness and knowledge displayed by the staff when I've needed it.
In terms of service, I go looking for a sales person rather than waiting to be served, and if you want a discount, ask for one. I've found them obliging a lot of the time.
I enjoy my shopping experience at The Good Guys. I've recently made a few purchases at my local store and I'd like to give a shoutout to Andrew and Sam who made the transactions so much easier to make.

I love shopping at Good Guys Capalaba for all our electrical needs as Westley always looks after us and makes sure we have the best possible deal on our purchase and the best up to date advice on anything we need to know about with the items we are chasing. We have bought our oven, cooktop, dishwasher, fridge, air conditioning units and laptops amongst other things through Westley at Good Guys Capalaba and have been extremely happy with the treatment in the store. We have only ever had one bad experience there with a salesman named Kirk/Kurt who's service we weren't happy with and some of the incorrect information he provided, as Westley wasn't there that day. When we rang the store and brought this to Westley's attention he fixed the situation immediately and followed it up. I have no hesitation continuing to shop with Good Guys Capalaba and seeing Westley for all of our purchasing needs knowing that he really has the customers' best interests at heart. A very big shout out to Kim and Emily at Good Guys Capalaba for going above and beyond to help me get my fridge replaced under warranty as the manufacturer dragged my claim out for 4 weeks. Not only did I receive a new fridge, it was also delivered within 24 hours... I can not thank you enough for your professional approach and understanding to my situation. Very happy customer and will return again. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had an issue with a new dishwasher that arrived but wasn’t working. Brendan helped me out and organised a replacement / install for a new one once they got more stock in

This is a big store with lots of products on display, which is really great as you can test them all out and compare them. Plenty of staff available here and willing to help. They make you aware they are available, but at the same time they don't pester you - there is nothing worse than having someone hover and bug you when comparing products, so thankfully that didn't happen here. Staff seemed knowledgeable when I asked them questions. If they didn't know the answer, they went and found somebody who did.

We keep going back to this store. The staff are friendly without being in your face, and always helpful. Plus they also make sure you get a bargain by discounting pretty much everything. We recently had to return a faulty electric wok where the heting element had failed. There was absolutely no fuss about it. They helped us find a replacement (we actually upgraded and got a better model) and even gave us a discount of the replacement.
