Pier Cafe

We visited this place on a Monday morning on our way of Pt Germein. We ordered 4 egg and bacon rolls and they were made fresh to order. The husband and wife were friendly and quick to make our order. There are a lot of old photos on the walls to look at while you wait. There is seating in and out. They are open from 9.00am to 2.00pm, close, then reopen again at 5.00pm for dinner. The only thing I found no good was that they didn't have a phone no to ring to place an order, but that was a little thing, but overall, it's a lovely place to eat. There are toilets over the road and the Pt Germein jetty across the road.

A hidden gem, the fresh local fish was definitely fresh, tasted like the sea. I had calamari, my mate had the garfish and instructor had a blt and another colleague had a fish burger. All looked amazing. Well worth pulling in off the highway

We stopped here for breakfast during our road trip. I had a bacon and egg roll which was delicious. Very friendly and professional staff. All our food was ready within few minutes all done by one person.

The locals were friendly and beautiful spot for a meal. Restrooms just across the road.

Fantastic food. Great staff. Average priced great looking building and clean restaurant . In a great part of town. I would only have one suggestion if a guest askes for a glass of water with there meal and you say you will go and get it. Please do and not just go out the back till they leave :(

Wanted to take kids fishing on the pier opposite. The owner not only provided advice but lended another fishing rod and his favourite lure, so friendly. Grabbed a hot drink and some treats and locally made cookies. Whilst it wasn’t lunchtime the menu was wide and the food we saw looked awesome. Worth a drop in

This is a place you MUST visit! The coffee is lovely and the scones are to die for!
The service is above anything I have encountered in a very long time! Lovely owner! !

The best cakes for our morning tea - all freshly made by a local and served with fresh cream, a friendly chat and smile. The coffee was perfect and our short stop at this pretty town with coffee and cake was a highlight of our holiday.

Three of us went to the Pier Cafe for lunch on Sunday. We had a lovely time. Service was excellent, they couldn’t do enough to make things easy for the person in our group who was in a wheelchair. Nothing was too much trouble. Need to get decaf coffee though please 😊. The atmosphere is great with lots of sea themed items and art decorating the place. Has that summer beach tome feel about it. Great linch menu. The roast lamb special was very nice, like a home cooked meal. Highly recommend this place. The fact it was busy speaks volumes.

Hubby and I have just finished the most delicious takeaway meal we have EVER had on our travels!!! Both had a hamburger with the lot and shared a salt and pepper squid meal with chips ... everything was so fresh from the homemade pattie on the hamburger, salad, chips and the mouthwatering salt & pepper squid! The squid is locally caught from Pt Pirie and fresh that day and homemade meat pattie so fresh and tasty. Wish we were staying longer to enjoy more meals!!! The owner/chef is so friendly and service was great and highly recommend, so forget the Pub honestly. :)

Bacon and egg sandwich was delicious as was the calamari with onion rings. Highly recommend!

Stopped in to stretch the legs and grab a bite to eat whilst travelling south for the weekend. Friendly service and yummy garfish straight from the spencer gulf. We sat across from the cafe outside and enjoyed our lunch looking out to the water. Great little town 👌

We had Fish & Chip, it was so yummy, delicious fresh seafood and super crispy chips, definitely a 10/10
