Always friendly staff

Bought a new bulb for my pool light from these guys. Initially I thought they were very helpful, that was until I tried to return the $57 bulb because it didn’t work. He refused to refund the amount because I had touched the bulb. He took no responsibility for not informing me that the bulb should not not be touched. I think this is appalling customer service.

I drove 30 minutes to visit the store and arrived at 4.40pm. The shop had closed early...
Sign On the door says 5pm close. Google says 5pm close.
Really disappointing.

It never ceases to amaze how some service industries seem intent on making life miserable for their clients. Small business thrives on both cash flow and profit - both of which relies on demand for a particular supply.
Unhappy clients can badly affect business: firstly, by withdrawing their custom and, secondly, through word of mouth.
Bad reviews trouble prospective clients more readily than good reviews.
That's a general and simplistic overview - one which is steeped in common sense and decency.
In this case, specifically as a client of PoolWerx, I had the misfortune of dealing with a most disagreeable and, to my mind, most offensive individual who met my complaints about the state of my swimming pool some 6 days after it had been 'serviced' with incredulity, preferring instead to berate me for suggesting that he bore any responsibility for ensuring I was happy with the work done (or not, as the case may be).

I can state publicly what I I told him personally: that I will not pay his account under any circumstances. Instead, the money will be spent elswhere to have my pool cleaned from algae and then swept properly.

Zero customer service, Lady who works there is rude and nasty. Better suited as a prison guard or Nurse Ratchet…

Total waste of time, nothing but delays and then cancellation for a pool safety inspection and certificate. 8 days - nothing.

No closing times. Closed 1pm on Saturday
