This Indian store in Mernda is a real find! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by soothing Hindu Puja Chant music, setting a peaceful vibe. They've got everything you need for an Indian kitchen, from spices to fresh veggies. Plus, they serve up delicious snacks like samosas. Don't miss the Desi Kothi ice cream—it's a must-try! The staff was super friendly, and the store was tidy and well-organized. And hey, there's parking right on-site, which is always a bonus. It's a great spot for anyone who wants all kinds of Indian Spices, Pulses, Rice, Flour, Biscuits, frozen items, Yogurt, Puja Items, Utensils and almost everything!

The owners are always helpful and store has lot of variety of products. Always neat and clean. I lost my ring but owners had it secure and was able to collect it. Honesty goes a big way.

We’re regulars here and love the range of fresh frozen foods and pantry staples available as well as their excellent customer service. They’ve even sourced and stocked some unique regional rice and legume varieties which usually I’d have to go looking for in the eastern suburbs. Thank you A&H team!

Very nice little gem hidden in a suburban street.
The collection of items they have is very mindfully chosen. It seems the members of the purchase team has carefully studied the demographic of the area and stocked the right items. Staff are always courteous and eager to help.
They also have a good policy to note on things that you would like to have and if enough demand is seen for the item, they start to stock it.
It is nice to see, a small store take on giant Indian grocery warehouses of Melbourne.

First time visiting after moving to Mernda. It is easy to find items, there is a great range, and friendly staff. If you want to try dishes and get more educated about Indian food (and many other products), then I highly recommend you try them as the staff are happy to help you learn and make recommendations. I will be visiting this wonderful store often.

Very well organized, small shop. You will find almost all varieties of kerala rice, especially south Indian grocery items here. They are very helpful to find the items, pleased with the customer service. Only shop around Mernda/Doreen, you will get the kerala banana (plantain banana). Keep going guys!!

Best Indian provisions shop in this area. Wonderful customer service, friendly and helpful. We use this as our go to shop for local Indian groceries. They have built up a wide range of frozen good, vegetarian, fruit vegetables, spices, biscuits etc a mix of northern and southern Indian favorites. Go there for your needs and enjoy the hospitality. Soon they will offer seating to go with their chai tea 🙏👍👍. We can’t wait! And if you dinner, stop by the Bombay Chopati or Roma’s pizzeria opposite. Great location. Always clean and well run. Don’t find what you need? Ask them and they will stock it for you, if possible. Thanks guys!
