We tried a selection of their hot food offerings and overall found it to be to our liking. Will be back for more / to try other items.

* tuna onigiri set, $7.50 - onigiri, fried chicken, takoyaki, edamame

There was an offer of free miso soup or hot mochi cake with all orders from the kitchen (eg. curry rice meals), so I chose one of each. I also happened upon some free gyoza tasting on the day so that was another bonus 👍

The Japanese curry rice meals come in medium ($18, 200g rice, 160g sauce) or large ($20, 300g rice, 180g sauce). The same sizing and pricing/rice quantity applies for the rice bowls. Small poke bowls can be found in the fridge section along with sushi and dessert items. Larger bowls can be ordered from the kitchen.

I counted almost 20 flavours of onigiris available and they make for a good alternative to the more ubiquitous sushi rolls (hand rolls). With a variety of other food options including sandwiches, rice bowls, coppe pan (Japanese style hot dogs), (large) sushi rolls, sides, and desserts, it will take me a few more visits to try everything that caught my eye!

I absolutely love this store! It is quite busy even on a weekday. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They make ready-to-eat meals inside, too. Their freshly made onigiri is a must. So, if you love all things Japanese, this is the store for you 😉. It is located in a shopping centre so there are plenty of parking spaces too.

If you miss Japan's combini onigiri, bento boxes and Japanese egg salad sando this is the place to go to!

I usually visited and shopped every week - staff are super friendly and greets with Japanese. I love the green tea bags, hand made bento, triangular rice bowl as well as snacks (sliced potato)! A must go place if you look for fresh and high quality Japanese canned food or material for your family feast!

They have many specials that make Japanese groceries cheaper. Their karaage and onigiri were really delicious as well!

Top notch service appreciated! Everyone probably mentioned the freshly prepared food here everything is delicious fav is probably the egg sandwich but all the onigiri are tasty the big fried chicken sandwich also delicious I love the bread 😁 keep up the good work arigato 👏👏

My wife is from Japan, if she loves this place it must be pretty good right 😆 I love the range of frozen and fresh goods they have. Also they have cooked and ready to eat food that's incredible. If you go, don't buy the mentaiko mayo onigiri... Because it's Soo delicious I want them all 🤭

Lots of unique Japanese foods, mocha red bean ice cream is great taste. Daily made 🍙 and 🍱 are tasty and super convenience.

A small little piece of Japan tucked away as a lovely little store . Services both hot and fresh food such as karaage and onigiri as well as a significant selection of unique japanese treats, drinks and alcoholic beverages . Highly recommend to pop by if you miss Japan or their goods.

Very authentic konbini-style market complete with fresh made-in-house onigiri, and wonderful staff!

I love this store, it has everything I need and I really love the food. My only question is, now that is starting to heat up more, will you be refrigerating the meals you prepare that contain meat products? Ps your kitchen meals are amazing.

Love it for japanese groceries! Especially for frozen tempura and taiyaki. They also offer a good range of japanese liquor. I also like the Katsu sando takeaway made on the spot
