I've had a fantastic experience purchasing my emtb from Adam & Tess. The initial communication was great, my bike had to be ordered from interstate and I was informed throughout. On collection day, everything was ready and Adam put me though a thorough setup to ensure it was comfortable.
Their knowledge is second to none and the selection in store is awesome. I would highly recommend purchasing from them as you are buying from experienced riders that are very customer focused. I bought my first electric mountain bike from the guys down at the emtb store. Their depth and knowledge is unmatched in the industry and their passion for mountain biking is obvious and it’s very clear they are riders themselves. I had visited 5 other stores before them and no one even came close to giving me the same level of customer care that Tess and Adam supplied on our first meeting, they didn’t just want to sell me a bike they wanted to match me with the right bike for me. Even the day after purchasing the bike Adam was happy to fit me in on short notice to add an upgrade to the bike.
I’ve done the leg work for you and I wouldn’t waist my time seeing anyone else if you are looking for a new emtb plus you get to have a pat of their two legendary trail dogs that greet you warmly in the shop. It’s a bike shop with old school customer service but with the latest tech and information on hand. Looking forward to see these guys over the years for all my emtb needs.

Purchased my Mondraker ebike through Adam and Tess at the EMTB store. I am not local, but they were very accomodating when it came to getting my bike when I was in town (staying open a little longer for me). The pricing was fantastic, and they were more than accomodating to making some mods to the bike before delivery.

I got my first ebike a Focus Jam2 6.8 through Adam and the crew about 4 months ago. If your looking at getting an emtb this is the store for you!!! I've had some hiccups and learning curves along the way and nothing has ever been an issue. Adam, Tess and Gav have always been super helpful, with great advice and honest reliable servicing. I have to give Adam and the crew 5 out of 5. I purchased a Focus Jam2 recently from CIS. Adam was very friendly and helpful. The bike arrived a month later and as I live on the NSW side of the border (which is closed for COVID-19) Adam set the bike up and helped me courier the bike over the border at short notice. Adam then went out of his way to do a bit of surgery over the phone to fix the dropper post cable which had come disconnected during transport. If you are after an eMTB this is definitely the place to go. Good brands and excellent after sale service.

I bought an e-bike from this company 3 years ago and have had excellent service with servicing. The motor died within 2 years and they went to extraordinary lengths replacing this (under warranty) and then having to recalibrate and replace other parts. I'd recommend this company for all servicing of bicycles.

Purchased a Mondraker Ebike through The EMTB store, couldn't fault the service. Bike was freighted to me down in Tasmania, packed well and not a mark on it once arrived.

Brought this beast of a bike from Adam at Cycles in Surgery. Str8 up rose 55kms . Awesome bike. Had a couple of small issues so e mailed Adam ,he replied and i drove to his shop which is normally closed on Mondays and fixed the issues. just like to give Adam big raps for the sale and going out of your way to help. Highly recommend this bike shop. I bought my mountain bike here last year off Adam and he was so helpful. Took about 20 minutes with me just explained all the options. Made me feel very comfortable with my purchase. I have since taken it back for servicing and some new tyres. Great bike shop and great staff. Well run bikeshop! Great service, honest and always good assortment of bike products. But most importantly, these guys have ebike stock! So happy we decided to buy our ebike from here, it ment we could easily compare all focus models and weren't lured into the one or two models which were on stock at other shops. Oh and they also did an amazing job for a custom paint finish on our tron, which is very hard to capture on these pictures

I can’t describe how good this bike is. It makes me look like a hero, and I am only a humble sidekick.
Stuff I used too stumble over on my Merida is merely a blip now.
And the stuff that used to make me get off and walk,

Well we just blast up/through/over it now.

So happy with the Mondraker Crafty Carbon, the perfect bike and suspension setup, and of course the brilliant service I received.

Can't recommend Adam, Tess and Gav at eMTB enough. They sure know their stuff, and nothing was too much trouble. Adam who looked after me was incredibly honest, and when I was weighing up two models a thousand dollars apart, actually spent the time pushing me towards the lesser and cheaper model, but I saw the value in the higher model. I ended up with an incredible deal, experience and most importantly one surprised, yet now very, very happy lady. Thanks eMTB team, we will be back!!

We picked up a Focus SAM2 6.9 and JAM2 6.8. Went for a couple of rides over the weekend and was very surprised at how much battery life was remaining after a 32km ride around HVAP. Great customer service from Adam. Highly recommend the store and Focus bikes.

I bought a 2022 Focus Jam2 6.9 from Adam early this year, and it was on of the best things I've ever done. The bike is awesome, and Adam and Tess have an amazing wealth of knowledge regarding the bike. Their after sales service is second to none. If you're buying a bike, or even considering buying a bike, don't go anywhere else!

Adam at Cycle in Surgery was amazing in helping us buy and get setup with 2 new ebikes. We are new to cycling and he was extremely helpful and patient in answering all our queries. He really knows his stuff! Even gave us follow-up calls to make sure everything was ok and we were happy with the purchase. Our new bikes are fabulous and we are very happy customers. I'm in NSW but found my 'must have' bike the through Bike Exchange website at Cycle In Surgery. From when I sent my first inquiry to the shop to the call that came not long after, customer service was on point. Adam answered all my questions and helped with postage quotes to have my Focus Thron couriered down to me! Super friendly and easy to talk with. Really happy with my experience dealing with Adam and Cycle in Surgery the whole process was quick and easy! Even had a follow up call to see how my bike was going now I've been riding for a few months!

Adam and the team were very welcoming from the first time I met them at their Focus demo day in Underwood park. I rode Adam’s Focus Sam2 6.9 and loved it. I could tell from our conversations that they all knew their stuff. I had no hesitation in ordering a bike. The order took longer than expected which was out of their hands, the communication continued until my bike arrived. When I collected my bike the functions were explained in detail, this was followed up by a courtesy call a couple of weeks later.
