Route 66 "The Little Kiwi Shop"

First try at this chippy tonight. Total winner in my view for cost, service, vibe, parking and of course food (including portion size). Shop also sells groceries from New Zealand and tubs of ice cream. Good choice after salty food! I had cod and chips. Crumbed. Beautifully cooked, crisp, golden brown, not oily. Lots of lemon wedges. Tasty crunchy chips moist inside. As the saying goes…i’ll be baaack..

My partner and I been coming to here for years and love it! We always order their cod and chips deal (only $13 with a can of drink!!) And some calamari. The value is amazing and I reckon their calamari is the best in town. Super tender and crispy! You can pay a bit extra for snapper or barramundi too. The staff there are very friendly and helpful too. I went there today and the young boy and girl were absolutely beautiful and very welcoming, try their hot snacks you will not disappoint 😀😀😀

My son and I just had our first visit to The Little Kiwi Shop for a burger. Food was so lovely, beautiful fresh salad with a super fresh toasted bun. Best hamburger we have had in a long while. Our new favourite takeaway for sure. The gorgeous friendly lady who served us even gave me some Valentines chocolates . Thank you

Wow!! I just stopped in to check it out. Ended up ordering the fish n chips combo 👌.
It's a winner guys. The chips nice and crispy and the battered cod is delicious and a big portion as well.
All for $10.50 that includes the drink as well 🙌.

A fantastic takeaway with old school good friendly service. The works burger combo is a winner with lots of bacon and a tasty meat patty with chips and a drink for $14. A good range of NZ favourites. Fish burger also looked really good. Would recommended for a tasty lunch time feed.

Ordered some fish and chips + a crumbed sausage from here just less than an hour ago and it’s delicious! Just moved local and so happy to find a fast and yummy spot for an easy lunch!

I was told they have the best fish and chips, well I would have to agree went there Sunday night and they were very busy. When I placed my order, the young lady said that there is a 1/2 hour wait, customer service is very good and polite. Was informed of the progression of my order with a sorry a bit busier than normal, Not at all I donot mind waiting. A very well kept clean store, the owners have pride in their work and run a very nice business, I will be back in the future and as we are new to the area and now have a great Fish N Chip shop. The battered cod was so big it had to be halved to fit on a plate! Golden, fresh and cooked in lovely fresh oil. Amazing, so glad we gave them another try. Bacon and egg burger also fantastic! Great service too.

My family and I have been coming to this shop for years. Lovely range of kiwi snacks and THE best fish, chips and burgers. Friendliest staff and the tidiest shop. Highly recommend coming to the shop and trying out all the goodies they have too offer!

This is the best fish and chips I have had in years. The fish is always perfectly fried, never oily, and the chicken salt on the chips is perfect. The portions are very generous, so be sure to show up hungry!

The battered cod was delicious and so was the L&P drink.

If you would like the best an I mean the best hamburger ever I suggest you stop at this place I have had a lot of burgers in my life but these are the best I have ever had awsome flavours an the staff are amazing we will be back again an again thanks for a absolute wonderful meal guys

Absolutely spectacular fish, enormous burgers & if you're lucky and the Mrs has been cooking, some of the best Thai food in Brisbane. Never had a bad food at this place and have been there many times. Highly recommend
