Very convenient location- don’t have to drive all the way into CBD to get few items. Came to get some decent quality matcha that isn’t $100.

Fantastic shop, great staff. The best range of Japanese curry in Brisbane. Great range of Japanese drinks and alcohol. High quality thinly cut meat, perfect for making bulgogi beef. Skip the supermarket or the liquor shop and come here! Really a gem of a local store.

This is my go to store, plenty of parking and always has what I need.

They even do discounts for larger quantities, have purchases full boxes of drinks for the kids supply.

Staff are always friendly

The prices were great and the store sold some Japanese candy that cant really be found anywhere else. The Wagyu meat was also tender and the sauce that came along with it was top notch. Overall, a great store if you are trying to find some quick food to eat

A great little Japanese Grocery store that has everything you need to make delicious food, as well as a range of snacks and Japanese alcohol. Friendly, helpful service if you can't find something! They stock some gluten free and vegan ingredients as well.

We're regulars as Genki Mart convenienly stocks pretty much all of the Japanese groceries that we regularly consume. Yes, a little more expensive than some other places, but they tend to carry better quality (according to my wife, who should know, as she's from Japan after all).

The shop is located in a local shopping centre that services the local community rather than the region, which works as the local community includes Weller's Hill PS, which has a English/Japanese bilingual program.

Genki Mart is a great, local Japanese specific grocer. It's a small store and Japanese specific so you wont find the range of a more generic 'asian' grocer, but you will find things that larger place probably don't stock - like natto, full range of furikaki, karage powders and the like. Very good.

Gorgeous selection of Japanese goods, some of which I've never seen before! Quite often it's fair trade or organic, which is apparently their ethos. So glad it's opened up close by!

A small store with many necessary Japanese staple foods. A good selection of frozen foods. The staff are helpful, polite and bilingual. The alcohol selection is pretty good also.
