Great business to deal with!

Pendle Part and Event Hire - Definition of ghosting and unprofessionalism. Attempted to engage Pendle Party for an event, never got further than a single phone call to arrange a venue inspection. On the day of the inspection, Adam failed to show up and failed to answer his phone. A second inspection date and time was painstakingly arranged after multiple phone calls and again, Adam failed to show up. Attempted to make contact via email and again, failed to respond. Disgustingly painful and unprofessional, impossible to plan an event when communication cannot even be started. I am glad we didn't engage this "business". Avoid at all cost, not worth the stress.

Stressful, painful, dreadful...unbelievably shocking service, dishonest and very, very unprofessional, Stay well clear of Adam and his business, save yourself from heartache. Wedding event ruined, cannot forget, will never forgive.

This company doesn’t even deserve one star. Dealing with this company is one of the worst experiences I have ever had dealing with a business. Not only was communication poor before the event, on the day of delivery I was lied to time and time again.
This was the day before the wedding and we continuously changed our plans so we could be there when he arrived to help set up.
Every time he said he was about to leave we would wait another hour and then get told another story. We were still waiting at 7pm the night before the wedding and still he did not show up.
If he had just told us at midday that it was going to be a problem then we could have made other arrangements.
Adam then promised us he would be at the location to set up at 5am, meaning he would leave his place at 4.15am. I set my alarm to wake up to contact him at 4.15am on the morning of the wedding. He answered promptly and said he was getting ready to leave. He then text me at 4.58am (he had absolutely promised he would arrive by 5am) to let me know that he was waiting for a guy to help him and then he started ghosting me. Would not reply to text messages or answer any of our calls. He eventually text one of the bridesmaids to tell her he was sick and was going to hospital but his timings and story did not match up to when I spoke to him.
The distress he caused the bride and us is totally inexcusable. What should have been an enjoyable preparation day and relaxing pre-wedding night was ruined by this man lack of professionalism.
He didn’t even have the decency to let the person who booked and paid him (me) know that he wasn’t turning up.
Absolutely disgusting.
I hope you are happy Adam with the stress and anxiety you caused so many people with your lies on what is meant to be a happy occasion.
I would never ever recommend this company and advise everyone to steer clear. Not worth the stress dealing with them.
Note: The bride and others who changed their entire day,evening and morning plans have also given a review as they were also extremely affected by this company’s poor service. The company has posted saying they weren’t a customer but they were, and their reviews are justified.

Bailed on furniture delivery at 4am on my wedding day and repeatedly falsely claimed they were coming the day prior and day of. My mother in law organised through this company, and it caused nothing but immense stress and inconvenience on my wedding day. This company then refused to reply to my mother in law and got the whole wedding party involved.
Extremely unprofessional, would never reccomend this company to anyone ever.

Absolutley shocking service. Made multiple excuses to keep pushing back delivery time for a dance floor, bar tables and chairs for a wedding. Promised to deliver the next morning, didn't show up, didn't respond to calls then cancelled the morning of the wedding. I can't even imagine how he could have handled the whole thing in a worse way.

If you a) love stress, b) are keen to try and reorganise a dance floor and tables the night before your big event, and c) love listening to excuse after excuse as to why your delivery can’t be made, then this is the party hire company for you!

They will keep you on your toes for the entire day your delivery is meant to be coming then disappear without a trace. Dealing with this company has given me multiple grey hairs.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will ruin your event. I wish I had seen their other reviews before contacting them.
